The marks around Alsephina's eyes weren't always there. Always known as a kind and gentle she-wolf, she was often the first one to ensure that her pack lived safely and happily, even if this meant putting herself in harm's way. The marks around her eyes were given by an unknown deity not long after she became the pack's Alpha, meant as a sign of her dedication to those below her; in a way, the marks are meant to symbolise Alsephina's sacrifice and the way she's prepared to give up her own happiness for her pack. In a way, they are meant to be tears that others were saved from shedding at the expense of their Alpha and her good-natured heart. Some even believe the marks are a blessing themselves. |

[Idea Booster to the Headcanon: The thematic of wolves having flecked patterns, subtle or not, is a sign of grace and gifting due to their 'glittering' appearance.] |

Lynx got his name after saving a lost lynx cub in the forest. The cub's mother, while not entirely pleased by having a wolf approach or carry her cub, did not lash out and seemed to even appreciate the length Lynx went to ensure the tiny kitten survived. From that day on, Lynx was known by that name. |
