Introduce New Mutations Via Raffle Studs

Introduce New Mutations Via Raffle Studs

When more breedable mutations are ready to be added into game, they could be placed on the raffle studs in order to get out there into the wolvden world!

Full support from me! I'd love to see Deaf and Blind as primary mutations introduced via the raffle studs. Even Polycaudal or extra ears!

Support! This is a fun idea. It could be done openly, so that everyone knows that the raffle stud is a carrier/mutie, or it could be done secretly (raffle stud is a carrier, but untested). It's fun to think of people discovering it weeks later and tracing it back to the raffle stud.

Oooh, I love this idea and I can't see any downsides really. If someone can, I'd love to hear them weigh in but this sounds like it would make it more fun for those of us that really don't care about markings.

Support. Everyone can only enter once anyways so I feel like this is a pretty fair way to spread muties and carriers throughout the player base, despite what they may have to spend. Though I hope we will get more than one raffle stud or other ways of getting carriers or muties of whatever new mutation that comes out since that would be a nightmare for anyone trying not to inbred.

I like this idea. Perhaps it could be for specific events or times of the year - such as hybrid raffles being used for Christmas time in December.

Big support!

This could be a fun way to introduce them ~ and give it a gradual introduction rather than a sudden boom of popularity! It'd be really cool to see some piebalds around finally >.>

Support as long as any new gene is also introduced into nbws. We need more than one line for any genetic mutation, and unlike markings and eyes (where we can chase wolves in hopes of creating new lines) genetics are erased when chasing. So I'm okay with seeing a mutation on a new stud as long as that's the first line of thaf new gene and its not exclusive through the raffle studs.

I somewhat support. Don't get me wrong, the idea of introducing mutations in raffle studs would be awesome as everyone can enter and only enter once.

Though I have to say that there should also be a chance for completely unrelated wolves to be a carrier. For example, raffle studs debut special markings, but after winners are selected they get thrown into the RMA pool. Maybe when a raffle stud debuts a new mutation, NBWs have a chance of being a carrier after the winners are selected.

However, what's keeping me, "iffy," about it is with raffle studs the maximum times he can breed is 50, which makes sense, but you can't guarantee that any of those 50 winners will have any puppies that will be carriers or mutated. At least with markings their pass rates are generally pretty high.

In all honesty, if mutations debut on raffle studs, I'd like for there to be another new feature that debuts with it (such as special markings, eyes, or nose) so that way there is still a great chance one of the puppies will end up with a unique trait instead of holding out hope on, "Are they a carrier/mutant or not?" and then being really disappointed that they are not (because when you win the raffle you want something cool to show for it).

Ooo I agree!

Nbw should definitely get a chance at it as well! This is only for basically just FIRST introduction of the mutations but after the very first introduction, definitely agree NBW's should get it!
