I mean I currently have a project just for breeding Glass eyes that are prettier than the standard glass eye NBW but are they really that special? No. Will people still like that they're prettier than a standard glass eye encounter? I think so! It's really about what you think is worth sending out for someone to be surprised by

Yes, and since we're trying for honest/genuine here, I feel we should not allow what another player may think influence our enjoyment of the game (chasing wolves specifically here) and do what brings us joy.

Breed only eyes are usually valued in my opinion. the finder can always change the base and add RMAs.

Personally I love finding raffle eyes, but in the end, I agree to just chase whatever you think is good! Good rule of thumb, if you'd like to find it as a chased, then go for it! :)

The rule of thumb cannot apply to me since I would like to find any chased, mostly because I've never found one with my previous lead or this one. Hell, I'd give off my only golden cone to find a rechased

There is something very satisfying and nice about finding a chased yourself and I hope you do find one soon. But if you just like pretty NBWs, you can find chased with very good markings and/or stats on the TC for less than 500sc.

Technically still applies, you can chase wolves you find pretty personally. Just means your tastes might be less picky than others lol. Takes some looking sometimes but you'll find one eventually, don't worry! :P

@Skulk I don't have too much more to add that others haven't but I'd like to mention that I love finding/buying chased wolves with special eyes - largely raffle and hetero eyes - and that to me, markings usually don't matter too much. Hell, I recently bought two hetero-eyed chased NBWs and appreciated that they were fairly plain otherwise, because it allowed me more creative freedom in designing them :)

And yeah echoing others, don't feel bad about the wolves you chase, don't feel bad about chasing regular NBWs, you aren't beating out "better" wolves when you do that because the almighty befriending pool has room for all (but doesn't accept all, RIP wolves who RNGesus smited). What people find pretty is hella subjective, so the best thing you can do is chase what you want to knowing that someone out there will appreciate it, even if they aren't the ones to initially find it.

I think it's been brought up before but I'm curious to hear newer responses! What would ya'll personally like to see more of in Chased wolves?

For me I'd like more natural looking wolves with less of the bright colored event bases/markings. I don't really care for them personally I know a lot of people LOVE color bombs but it's just not my thing Gimme a wolf that looks like it belongs at Yellowstone and I'll go crazy for it every time idc about tiers!!
