Chased Wolf Chat

I personally don't think so! I think all wolves have the same chance of getting spotted, rechased or not. I just think rechaseds just appear more because...some of them are undesirable. I've gotten some cute rechaseds, though!

I agree with #42872 - a rechased NBW is far more likely to be unwanted than a player-bred wolf. Some could debate certain emotions play a role as well. I do not think any wolf has a better chance of being pulled into Befriending regardless of trait(s) that may or may not be present - nor do I feel we can know for certain rechased NBW are entering the pool more often than a player-bred wolf. Though, I understand any frustration.

I do not mind a rechased 2 y with 270 or 280 stats total, but I understand it's not everyone's play style.

- During a T3 chase event someone asked a mod if they should stop chasing T2s and T1s so as not to lower the chance of T3s being found. Mod said no it didn't change anything. So it's the same for rechased: they don't lower the chance of "good" chased. Presumably if people stopped rechasing we wouldn't get more good chased, but just less chased.
- Plus I'm pretty sure the game doesn't know the difference between rechased and normal chased. So it can't favour one or the other.
- And rechasing is important gameplay-wise, especially when you only have a limited amount of space yet, and also something newbies do a lot because they don't know about the chase mechanic. And you can't get mad at new players for something that's not explained in the tutorials because it's mostly a player-created convention.

Beautifully stated, Fal! I struggled with the words for my post. I could not agree more.

That's what I always thought as well. ('That' meaning everyone's replies lol.) A new player is likely to chase 6 or even more NBWs during their first month, as they're just getting a feel for things and have such limited den space. That shouldn't be viewed as bad or that the player (new or otherwise) is bad for doing so. You can create 30 NBWs in a single day, but you can't efficiently do the same with bred wolves. Those wolves have to go somewhere, and not everyone's going to have the time/space to wait them out. To treat rechases as such a negative is to ignore what the feature is designed to do: Remove undesired wolves from the game.

(And I've also come across some nice/high stat rechased! Simple NBWs can be cute sometimes lol.)

Thank you for the genuine answer Fal! That's good to know for the next time I see someone bring it up, hopefully it will help alleviate some frustrations about the whole thing. ^^

Hello! Anyone can explain to me what "rechased" means? Im assuming it doesn't mean twice chased because wolves disappear if they're chased a second time... or so i believed?

Rechased is a normal game generated NBW that was caught and chased. Aka: The least liked type of chased

I found out I like chasing raffle eyes, but how good is that actually for the pool? I mean, Carrie is chasing bronze's with like quadruple wings or something and I'm just chasing your average wolf with a smoke eye.
