Fix Raffle Standard Mode

Fix Raffle Standard Mode

Greetings!

How do you like the new raffling system? I think everywolf's got hyped for even the slightest moment. After investigating this feature for a while, I noticed that standard mode of the raffle is flawed and unfair for participants. Each participant can get only one prize. The more entries you get, the better chance that you'll get a prize. But which prize?

The point is, that it's impossible to write a script that would correctly compare values between different types of prizes - between wolves, items or both types of currencies because the values are determined by the players and change over time. For example, a guarana is more expensive than an aging crystal but it was the other way around a year ago. Wolf's heritage is not affected by the gameplay but players still value them differently. Even the SC:GC conversion rate changes.

This has little to no effect in standard raffles with few participants. If the participant count equals the number of prizes, it doesn't matter how many entries you purchase - you get whatever reward.

My suggestion is to let players set the priority of which prize they want to get. When the raffle is up, it rolls the first winner and gives the prize of the winner's highest priority, then rolls another player, giving a prize of the player's highest priority that hasn't been claimed and so on. This means the more entries you purchase, you'll more likely get a reward of the higher priority.

All that's needed to implement this idea is to edit some code in raffles. It's recommended to make this feature optional without having to suspend current raffles.

Thank you for reading my suggestion!

Oh, yes! This would be amazing, if implemented! There have been several raffles that have valuable items that I want, and then… there's a 150 SC prize as well or something and I don't want to risk buying all those tickets just to get that amount of SC that could easily be earned in one day's worth of snake quests. I don't want to risk getting disappointed like that, because it's happened to me before, and it is not fun haha..

It really is a bummer to put all your items into a raffle to get one of the prizes, which you really want, and then to get one of the incredibly cheap prizes. It's happened to me already once or twice and I really, really don't like it and would like if that raffle mechanic were changed, or tweaked a bit to prevent this from happening?

TL;DR: I would love for your suggestion to be implemented! I feel it would be fair for all players if that were the case ^^

While I would agree that it would make everything easier I think it would be way to hard to implement to have every player choose their own favorite prize.

What I would like to see tho is the raffle host, deciding the ranking off the prices.

For example if I raffle off 500GC, two T3 NBWs and 5 custom decors I wanna be able to say the GC is the main price, the wolves place 2 and 3 and the 5 custom decors are the runner ups.
