Most come as blank slates, ready to be shaped into a new character, but if you'd like a little bit of a starting point, you can purchase a bit of background lore for them too! I often refer to my adoptables as "customizer-friendly", but what exactly does that mean? Well, in short, it means that all designs are able to be relatively closely replicated as Wolvden wolves, and many of those replications can be done through the Oasis customizer. When you purchase an adopt here that is labeled as "customizer-friendly" (or similar, as below), you will receive a wardrobe link in addition to the adoptable art and rights to the character, in case you'd like to recreate your new character in-game. In addition to customizer-friendly, I also use a few other terms to denote just what you'd need to do to recreate the design. You can find these designations in the adopt preview, just below the design name. If you are purchasing an adoptable with the intent to recreate it as a character here on Wolvden, please keep its designation in mind! Designations I use are as follows Customizer-Friendly: The wardrobe link you will receive alongside your character includes only bases and markings that can be applied directly through the customizer. In general, these designs will be the least expensive to replicate. NBW Base/NBW Marking(s): The wardrobe link you will receive alongside your character includes a base and/or markings that can only be found on NBWs or bred, not customized. If it is marked only with "base", only its base is NBW. If it is marked only with "marking", it has only one NBW marking, and if it is marked with "markings" it contains multiple NBW markings. If it has both "base" and "marking(s)" then it has both an NBW base and one or more NBW marking. These designs may be more difficult and expensive to replicate in game, since they require finding an NBW with the specific traits as a base. Am I required to recreate my adopted designs as Wolvden wolves? Not at all! Your adopts are yours to do with as you wish. This thread is for selling adoptables, not wardrobe designs-- the design links are merely included as a convenience in case you wish to use the designs here, since we are, after all, playing Wolvden! If you wish to use your adopt only outside of gameplay, however, you are perfectly free to do so. If I want to create my wolf in-game, do I have to use the wardrobe design provided? Also nope! Rules

-Do not use or copy these designs without permission (i.e. if you have not purchased them)
-Do not alter the original art or remove my signature from it
-Do not change your adoptable's design beyond recognition (i.e. you may make small changes to exact marking shape/eye color/stylistic changes, but don't change the design so drastically that it loses all semblance of its original feel). However, long-term character evolution is fine. If you are using the character for a prolonged period (i.e. as a sona) and it naturally changes during that time, even if those changes end up adding up to be a lot. (Why? If you purchase a design just to immediately change it significantly... why not just make your own design instead? If it changes over time and as a result of a character, that's a lot different.)
-You may use purchased designs outside of Wolvden, but must credit me for their original concepts
-Once you have purchased a design, the rights to the character belong to you to do with as you please.
-You are free to utilize or disregard purchased lore as you please. However, you will not be refunded for purchased lore, even if it is disregarded.
-Do not resell the character for more than you purchased it for unless it has undergone a significant increase in content since then. (i.e. do not resell a design you purchased and did little with for more than you bought it for. However, if you have added extensive lore/art/etc. to the character, you may revalue it accordingly).
-If you wish to purchase a design for commercial use, you must contact me to negotiate in advance. Do not use my designs for commercial use without my permission. I may not grant permission to use my designs in a commercial way, or may impose additional terms on such an agreement. That comes at my discretion.

Purchased designs and characters belong to their purchasers, barring a clear breach of these terms, in which case such a license may be revoked. In all other cases, the uses of a purchased character or the actions of their owner bear no affiliation to me, and are not my responsibility or liability, nor do they represent me in any way.

Payment, Purchase Options, & Refunds

All adoptable sales are first-come first-served. When you first request to buy an adoptable, it will be placed on "on hold" for up to 24 hours (unless otherwise negotiated). During this time, others may request to be placed on a wait list for this adoptable. If payment is not sent while the adoptable is on hold, it will be relisted and/or placed on hold for the first user on the wait list.

Adoptables are sold for USD, GC, or sometimes items. All $ prices are USD. Payment must be provided before the adoptable is transferred. IRL currency payments run through my Ko-Fi. GC and item payments run as gift trades through the WD trading center.

The base of any adoptable purchase is the adoptable itself. Each available adoptable has a base price in GC and USD (if both are available) listed beneath it, as well as any individual restrictions on item trading. If item trades are available for a set, they will be listed in a spoiler tag below that set.

All adoptables come with a wardrobe url unless otherwise specified, in case you wish to recreate your new character as an in-game wolf. In additional to the base adoptable purchase and wardrobe url, the following add-ons are also available for all adoptables, unless otherwise specified:

Blind Bag Basic Lore

Base adoptables come with no lore. However, you may opt to purchase basic "starter lore". This includes a few sentences of basic info about your wolf, including age, personality, and simple backstory concepts. This lore is completely blind-- what you get will be a surprise! There are no requests for concepts, themes, etc.-- it is intended to be a story jumpstarter. You are not obligated to use the story concepts you are provided with (or could purchase an additional Blind Bag Basic Lore for a "re-roll" if you're not happy with the first option), but you will not be refunded if you choose to discard your provided lore.

Blind Bag Basic Lore costs $2USD/20GC, or may be optionally included free with some item deals.

Art Shop Discount

Unless otherwise specified, all adoptables come with a 25% discount for the first piece of art purchased for them from my art shop. You must mention you are using this discount when you request a commission through my shop. Requested commissions are subject to all normal rules of my art shop.

All add-ons are optional. You are not required to purchase/redeem any of the above in order to buy an adoptable from this shop.

All purchases are final, and will not be refunded. Please do not purchase an adoptable you do not intend to keep. Your payment will not be held or returned, as the transaction is considered final once the character and any associated links or lore have been sent to you.
