"Old is better than wet bedding, especially in Red-leaf." Mothvoices woofed matter-of-factly, although they guessed Primrose already knew that.
"After we finish with nest-making, if we have any spare moss, can i use it to wash my wound?" He asked, his tail drooping. His teeth grit as he took a few steps.

Thorn jumped out of the bushes, right in front of Aspen, and gave a toothy smile, letting her tongue loll. Her pelt bristled from anxiety, hoping she wouldn't ask about her hiding in the bushes.

"Heyyyy….Aspen! What're you doing?"

"Oh, of course! You should've said something earlier. Theia, will you start the nests and I'll take Mothvoices to find some moss while I collect more nesting material?" Primrose spoke up, annoyed that she forgot to check with Mothvoices on whether it needed something.

"Oh, Thorn! I thought I smelled you around." Aspen greeted the other. "I was just about to drop this off then come find you." She swept a gaze over the half wolf, taking in the slightly bristled fur. Focusing back towards Thorn's face she smiled slightly. "I realised just now that I hadn't been around you much, completely my fault. Are you finding the team easy to get along with?"

"No-it's fine-I-I can wait, Primrose." they whined, shaking their head. "This bedding is important. I don't want anyone else to be sleeping badly. I can wait." Repeated the black adolescent.

Thorn bowed their head anxiously when she caught the eye of Aspen looking over her, and she sat down self-consciously. Flattening her ears and forcing her fur flat, and looking away.

"You smelt me!? Yeah, I was… hanging out." She said softly. Her eyes trailed back to the she-wolf, licking her chops at the sight of the hare.

"Nono, it's ok, I get it, it's busy being a Hunter." She raised her hind leg to scratch at her ear. "It's..good. Do you? Like it, I mean."

"Absolutely not, most nests are done and I'm fairly sure there'll be some wolves awake most of the night anyway." Primrose rebutted. It was more important to get the wound better in her opinion, otherwise you wouldn't sleep well anyway!

Aspen sat down as well, not too bothered to wait. "I adore being a hunter, definitely one of my favourite parts of being in a pack. Otherwise I might've been a scout but I'm so glad to have this role." She sighed, looking towards the frosty area. "Apart from hunting in this time. Always a pain." She laughed softly.

(Rare interval that i am. I usually only come on to do brief things and then do my other stuff. Since I'm on Thanksgiving break, I have a bit of stuff I have to do around the house now.)

(Yeah! I'm having to celebrate my Boyfriend's birthday tomorrow and the planning for that has been going well. It'll be through online stuff sadly, but we're both fine with it.
