(btw I just wanted to let ya know that if I make huge paragraphs like I just did now you don't have to do a huge one if you don't want to lol, I just get kind of creative and it helps with writing practice X3)
Twyni sighed, draping his head over his mate. "Come on, we should let the next two guards know they're up. I'll go check on her." The male got up, trotting out towards the exit. The scent of fresh killed rabbit filled his nose and he paused, checking for anything else. Nothing, except Austria's scent. "Austria!" He wooded softly, picking up the rabbit. "Austria, come on, you gotta head back!"
Austria heard his call and stopped for a moment, but she needed to keep going. She whimpered, not knowing where to go next as she found herself in a surrounded space. She whimpered.
Twyni sped up, knowing Syniad would easily realise what happened. "Austria! Come on pup, you need to get back!" He sped up, almost wanting to laugh as he realised she had trapped herself. Every pup had done it, he'd done it multiple times. "Hey Austria. I know you don't want to stay but really, a pack of thirty wolves against one mad wolf? It'd be a shame on our ancestors." He huffed good naturedly.
Austria sniffled as she cried softly. "y-you don't u-understand.... I-I... I h-have to...." She sniffled as she slowly got out of the trap. She hung her head, crying a little. She couldn't get herself to speak.
"Please, you don't have to do anything. It's one wolf, you must've had a very weak pack to have to lose to one wolf." Twyni huffed, starting to get slightly annoyed. This pup, doubting how strong a pack that she was being allowed to stay at. Truly quite rude.
"Come on, I want to sleep and if you aren't back then neither Coeden or Fy will be happy!" Twyni continued.
Austria sighed, she slowly followed him, there was no choice but to stay, she could only hope that if they did attack.. they would be able to defeat them all. She didn't doubt the strength of the pack, she only worried for them, not wanting anymore wolves to shed blood under Night and his follower's wrath. She followed quietly. "I'm sorry..."
Twyni lead the way back silently until she spoke. "It's... it's alright. I get that you are scared but believe me, I've seen what Fy alone can do. We've been travelling a lot recently, and she always has to ensure there's enough space. That means a lot of wolves have to be forced away. Of course, it's only packless wolves and there's always two choices. Joining the pack or simply waiting for us to move on. A lot of wolves choose to fight her for the space. None have yet to win." He stepped aside, letting Austria go first before following. "Go back to sleep. Someone will wake you at daybreak." He said, pushing Austria's side softly in the direction of the nursery. Syniad came over, two wolves following before they stopped in the middle of camp, preparing to watch for the next while. Syniad looked over Austria before turning to Twyni and nuzzling his side before turning back towards her den, Twyni following as he let Austria head back to the nursery.
Austria padded into the nursery silently, she was quite tired she had to admit. She silently crawled back into her nest and fell asleep, letting her dreams take over for the remainder of her rest.
Coeden woke as the sun rose, stretching before heading away from the nursery for water. The scents of Aerod, Gwaed, Gwinau, Syniad, Tawel were already becoming cold. They must've been up early. Fy's scent was also mixed with them, rather recent. A few wolves were up already. With a large yawn, the she-wolf paused in front of the stream and lapped at it slowly, still half asleep. She'd let Austria sleep a little longer, there was no rush.
