Austria padded out of the den and looked behind herself and waited. "Come on!" She called softly. Brindle, Eagle, Kenak, and Akura all wobbled after their mother, Akura whimpered and yawned. Yeti followed and gently picked up Kenak in his gentle jaws. Austria picked up Brindle, leaving Eagle and Akura on the ground. Austria put Brindle on her back, and picked up Akura, Yeti did the same for Kenak and picked up Eagle.
The group got ready quickly, spring was nearly over and everyone was ready to go home. The group started off, a slow pace as there was no longer a need to rush.
The swamp and desert passed quickly and soon enough they were in the prairie, the mountains looming in the distance. Fy sped up into a trot, the hunters before her stretched into a flat out gallop as they raced across the grass and the rest around Austria sped up slightly, not quite into a trot.
The pack soon filed up past the foothills, into the mountains. A few split away, most seemed to relax and soon they arrived back home, ducking into the slippery tunnel.
Austria padded through, followed by Yeti. She went to the nursery and she set the puppies down at her belly where they began to suckle hungrily. The two others did the same as Yeti nestled them by their mother's belly. "I'm so proud.... I always wanted to be a mother.." Austria whispered half to herself.
By night everything was back to normal. The pack was happy, full and content, back in the home lands. The scents of other wolves tracked around camp but all the wolves older than a year knew them as the Moths pack, a close friend.
Austria started to groom her puppies as they laid in her spot. She was outside in her warm spot, her puppies cuddled at her belly and playing with each other.
Coeden and Twyni were outside as well, grooming each other as they talked. Syniad came over, laying next to Coeden to an offended look from her mate, Twyni, and then just laughed, grooming Coeden's back. The rest of the hunters soon came out of the den and Syniad left, leaving Twyni and Coeden again.
