Her zealously is certainly something to be feared, though it can also be her fatal flaw, in that she can become so blind-sided by her goals that she might easily overlook tiny things that could lead to her demise, such as her arrogant assumption that Sangana won't let the Cult fall a second time."

-- PROLOGUE--

“Battered and beaten, but still alive, Kitizra and Praleda begin an arduous journey through the valley, towards the looming mountain range in the distance and the lands that stretch beyond it. The trek is no easy feat for a pair of inexperienced yearlings, but they stubbornly push on, knowing of their potential and the divine fate that Sangana has in store for them.

They reach and crest the mountain range, dragging themselves into the chilled heights to survey the new lands before them. There were forests and grasslands, both of which were certain to be teeming with prey… and the ruthless, hungry lone wolves that would want to hunt them, Kitizra aptly acknowledged, narrowing her skeptical, golden gaze.

Praleda is swift to praise her Queen’s wisdom, cooing over how this is surely proof that the voice of Sangana has already found and graced them with her guidance. So, they choose to settle in the safe seclusion of the mountains, where prey will be hardened by the harsh climate and therefore harder to catch, but wolves that might seek to harm the yearlings will be discouraged by the harshness of the mountainside.”
