having the ability to manually convert items is a BAD solution. this would mean you would have to manually click on an item and convert them.

Seconding this. My ideal solution would be for the crafting recipes to take either remnants, items, or a mix.

For instance, let's say you're crafting an item that takes 10 owl talons. You have 4 owl talon remnants and 6 actual owl talons. When you click to craft, you could get a popup confirmation window saying, "Converting 6 owl talons. Proceed?" That way, people who want to use items can still do so, but people who would rather use only remnants will not be taken by surprise.

@lionel: this is a really good idea, i think a confimation/warning for mixed remnant and item crafting would tie it all together.

Wanna come back and say the feeding from stacks in hoard is perfect and fast now the blank bar is gone, an excellent part of the update. :D

Has anyone else had their wolves magically gain 10% of amusement? I could have sworn that my remaining wolves that haven't been played with yet were at 80% but now they are at 90% without me having played with them.

Haha just tried this out and it's great!! Only thing is I'll have to get used to how it works because the snake will still want full use regular items for quests D:
