Mars shook his head, watching the pup in amusement and curiosity. He never had met the overly kind wolves, but he for some reason slightly wanted to. Probably be fun to ruin one's day, or even injured or kill one if they could make him mad enough. Mars came to the waters edge, a little ways away from the pup, acting as if not to notice her. Then he began to drink, keeping his eyes dark and watching the water.
Zofia squealed in excitement, oblivious to her surroundings. The fish under paws has all of her attention. She leaned down and began to feast upon her trophy. Her teeth ripping apart flesh, her jaws crunching down on the brittle bones of the trout, the sound was crisp, almost like a crunchy potato chip. The hunger that was once growling in her belly is now gone as she finishes her tasty meal. Having left behind only a few bones, the tail and head of the fish, Zofia sat back on her haunches and licked her muzzle clean. "Too bad Borealis wasn't here, he'd be proud of me. Yet at the same time, he'd laugh at me for making such a darn mess." She spoke outloud to herself, chuckling softly.
The breeze drifted down the tree line across the river towards Zofia's current location. The wind ruffled her damp, merle coat, as well as caused all sorts of smells to be wafted into the air. The smell of the dying grass, and crunchy leaves filled her nostrils. Yet there was something else mixed in with the natural smells of the woods… An unusual one.. A wolf. Zofia froze in place, her muscles stiffened.. She was not alone.
Mars stayed where he was, becoming slightly annoyed by the other pup. He hated being ignored, at least when it came something like this. He found it stupid when they seemed obvious, as if nothing could stop or hurt them. He felt a few drops of water hit his face when the pup pounced for a fish. His eyes watched her darkly, he was losing his patience. Maybe he could get away with injuring a Colbalt, not like he wasn't used to trouble already.
Zofia's hackles rose, attempting to make herself look bigger than what she really was. Ever so slowly, she turned her head and scanned the opposite bank until she locked eyes with another pup. His gaze looked cold and black. Zofia jumped to her paws and spun around until her body was facing the pup. This stranger was not from her pack, that is a fact. Zofia lowered her head, her brows furrowed and her little tail stiffened with worried. 'I can't believe it, an Outcast pup…. They really do look so evil.' She thought to herself. At this point, what should she do? Turn and run? Tell her parents? What would they do? Its not like hes swimming across the fast flowing water to get to her. Perhaps it was best to stand her ground, if she took off the other pup might sense it as a sign of weakness and dart after it. Zofia stood her ground and glared at the male, waiting for his next move.
Mars kept his eyes locked with the pup's, he walked slightly sideways lifting his head. It was not his intention to scare her just yet, but he did plan to, in time. Maybe he could trick her, gain her trust and then betray her, that is what he's best at. Mars made his way across, where he would be directly in front of the pup. "Been quite I will since I've seen one of you..." Mars snarls, he kept his eyes dark and his face unreadable.
Zofia watched the pup make his move across the river, shocked that he dare trespass onto her family's land. A low rumbling growl grew deep within her frail body, a warning to the pup to keep his distance. It was definitely far to late to tuck tail and run now. Her eyes darted to every movement he made, watching, waiting, "And who the hell are you? And what do you think you're doing trespassing onto Cobalts land?" Zofia growled in response. This pup is entirely crazy thinking hes going to get away with this..
Mars laughed slightly to himself, "Oh you're all so naive... it does not matter who I am, I was here first, and I can do what I please regardless of what is or is not mine or yours..." Mars snaps.
Zofia was appalled by the pups response. Who the hell does he think he is? "You won't be saying that when Cobalt members come surrounding you, ya know! Then what? No way you can take on a bunch of adults!" She snapped back. Zofia raised her head and glared back at the stranger, observing him. He had to be about the same age as her. Of course he was a tad bigger, being she was somewhat small for her age. She knew he could instantly overpower her if he really wanted.
Mars tried his best not to look shaken, he didn't think she would be so bitter. "Why do I give them any reason to attack me... because I merely stepped onto your precious lawn, oh I'm so frightened... I can get to mine just as quickly as I arrived... so I suggest you try not to threaten me... I tend to be a but... violent..." He says, one the last word his eyes narrowed, waiting for her response.
Okay, question... Should Pluto and Zofia be friends since he is in her pack, or have they met at all... you choose...
Zofia listened to his words carefully. She could somewhat tell he was struck back her words. She knew he wasn't expecting her to talk back, hell she didn't even know she had the courage to do it in the first place. She was just as shocked as he was. The pup huffed softly, "You know damn well our packs are rivals. If the rolls were turned, and I came prancing onto your territory, you'd have me on my back. If not, already killed out of pure, malicious act. You know it!" She hissed. "Therefore I'm not threatening you, I am asking you a valid question." Zofia growled, she was beginning to become impatient. What was this pups act? What did he want with her?
