Please, no posting! The Pack of the Everfrost;  the Numb and the Chilled.
The wolf picks themself up off the ground, revealing their frail form to you. Their thin legs look like they could break at any moment, and yet they seem indifferent to their frailty. They push aside the ancient bark that you had seen before, their cold eyes turning back to you.
"Are you certain you wish to hear of the wolves of the Pack of the Everfrost?" Their voice is low, but it's not hostile. Only... questioning. "If you wish to hear me speak of them, hold your tongue. If you desire something else, speak now or keep silent."

"If you wish to hear of something else, tell me before I begin."

Ashen Valketine

 Alpha Female

(10.2020 - ???)

Ashen hailed from a pack to the north, beyond the mountain range she once called home. She lived there with her mother, her father, and her two siblings; Tsuniri and Denik.
Her pack was large and was claimed over countless territories, and she was the eldest of her siblings, daughter of the Alpha and heir to the pack.
Unbeknownst to her at the time, her pack was in grave turmoil.
Another younger, newer pack was impeding on their territory and was successfully taking from Ashen's pack. The Alpha, Ashen's father, could do nothing but watch.
In the end, the Alpha could no longer care for the pack, and together with his mate, chased their young children away in hopes that they would not have to watch their pack perish.
On their journey for a new home, Ashen discovered the importance of leading, of how she needed to be strong so that she could defend her siblings, whom she loved dearly.
Alas... Fate was not kind to her.
It laughed in her face, and just as her siblings were about to cross the path to safety, to the place where they could find their home, two large lynxes attacked them.
Exhausted and tired from their journey, Ashen and her siblings could barely fight back, and she watched in horror as the hungry lynxes began tearing her brother, Denik, apart. Tsuniri, enraged and crying out for their brother, threw herself into the fray of the lynxes, where Ashen lost sight of her.
Unable to protect her siblings, Ashen could only watch as the lynxes tore at her siblings, ripping through their skin.
And then the creature turned to her.
At first she lunged in to fight the lynxes, horrified that she allowed them to harm her siblings, but after a few blows that left lasting scars, she quickly retreated, escaping to the path of safety that she had aimed to reach with her siblings.
She had abandoned her siblings; those who she loved more than anything, and ran to the valley.
There, she met Tala, the wolf that would guide her along her path.
Her heart, heavy with grief, shattered at the thought of creating a pack now. After all, she had abandoned her siblings to die, and now she was alive but alone. She didn't deserve another pack, certain that she would fail them as she had her own kin.
But then he appeared, seemingly out of thin air;

Odin.

Odin

 Beta

(10.2020 - ???)

Odin cannot recall who he once was.
But worry not, for you will still know.
Odin was once a God. Under the name of Vask, he was the God of Mercy and Kindness, and his job was to grant wishes and balance the world with the help of the God of Carnage and Greed, Moktiko.
However, when Moktiko began to over extend his duties, casting greed and carnage down to the world, Odin—Vask at the time—found himself falling behind, unable to keep up with Motiko's fierce affronts to wolven kind.
The other Gods of their assigned pantheon began to take notice of the prayers of the mortal wolves. Prayers begging for kindness and peace to their lands and kin.
They turned to Motiko, demanding to know what was happening. Instead of owning up to his mistakes and blood-thirsty desires, Motiko threw the blame onto Vask, telling them that he was slacking in his duties, and that Motiko was doing as he was expected.
The Gods turned to Vask and demanded an explanation, but no matter what he said in response to Motiko's accusations, they did not listen. The only one that did was his brother, the God of the Hunt; Aimal.
But the Gods did not listen to Aimal, either. Instead, they accused both of the brothers for attempting to usurp the Heavens.
The Gods gave them a choice.
One of the brothers must become mortal, and learn the responsibility it takes to be a God, and the other must be the one to send them down to the world of mortality.
Two rules were made clear;
1. The God must not retain memories of their Godhood.
2. The God must have a proper form of a wolf, to understand what life was like for the mortals.
Aimal looked to Vask and offered to go in his place, but Vask denied, instead deciding that it was his duty to prove that he was not the God at fault.
Aimal, deep with understanding, agreed. He crafted Vask a mortal form; Odin.
He tore away the memories of his brother, as instructed by the other Gods, but found a loophole in the rules.
Though his brother would not remember his Godliness, he would still hold the strength and speed of a God.
And so, Aimal set Vask down in his new form, and let Odin free unto the world.
Odin awoke, no memory of who he was; only that he was a wolf, and that his name was Odin.
But then, he heard a call.
A cool, shivering wail on the horizon; one in need of something he couldn't quite describe.
He followed this cry, knowing not why, but only that he must help whoever was on the other end.
And then she was there; a wolf of beauty both in and out...

Ashen.
