Arren finally turned as the snake disappeared beneath the water. The spirit ran, fading among the trees and ignored the urge that told him to go back.

Kaiya gasped in pain, recoiling from the mare before pushing forward and twisting around, shoving at the creature. "Get out of my waters! This is my home, you are not welcome here!" She screeched, slitted eyes blazing with anger as she pushed the other away, tail slamming against a tree and as she realised what it is, the Naga pulled it in. Gripped tightly by her tail Kaiya swung it at the Kelpie in an attempt to get it to leave. She respected that it was a decent fighter but this was her home, it needed to go!

Rearing back for another strike, Ceò was caught off-guard by the tree, not having time to dissolve. She shrieked as it caught her in the side and slammed her into the riverbank, jagged branches tearing wounds down her side. Knowing she was outmatched, and panting in pain, she quickly reared her head above the water, breathing out a sign of relief when Arren was nowhere to be seen.

Turning back to the raging Naga, Ceò mustered up the last of her strength, feeling the power within her surge like raging waves, yearning to be let loose. Arching her neck, she reared above the raging river, howling out a battlecry.

Eyes glowing, a powerful blast of water whipped around her, forming into a massive flood that surged into the Naga with the force of a tank, sending her reeling.

Not staying behind to watch the aftermath, Ceò turned, dissolving yet again into water, and streaked downstream.

Arren flinched at the loud cry, pausing and weighing their options before simply shutting their eyes, body shutting down and spirit fading away. When they woke up it'd be better. Right?

Kayia hurtled back but could see the Kelpie disappearing and instead turned to go with the flood. She spotted the opening that lead to her cave from the river and pushed herself into it with a flick of her tail and grabbing onto the stones littering the entrance before swimming up the calmer path and coming up into her cave. Pushing herself to sit on the ledge, Kaiya then pooled her body underneath her and flopped a coil over the side to give the stability she needed to get the rest of her long form into the cave properly. And she did just that, pooling up before pushing herself onwards. A shelf was in her cave, full of various healing items. There were bruises blooming across her torso and where her scales connected to skin ached. With a sharp hiss she prodded at her ribs, trying to see if any were broken. None seemed to be but who knew... grabbing various things she moved to the entrance of her cave, settling in a looping form and beginning to heal herself.

Ceò galloped through the water, leaving a trail of blood as she went. With a pulse of energy, her eyes glowed softly and a cooling sensation settled over her wounds. She briefly closed her eyes, relief flooding her. Speeding around a bend in the river, she leapt into the air, dissolving into water particles and letting the wind carry her to a nearby lake, where she reformed yet again and slipped in with nought but a faint ripple.

Curling up at the bottom of the lake, she closed her eyes, attuning her senses to the water around her. It was time to rest, and heal.

Blizzard shifted into her dragon form, shaking her head. She shouldn't have gotten curious like that, why couldn't she control her impulses?! She flew back to her dragon lair to sleep the night away.
