A chill ran down Ceò's spine, and she straightened, careful not to let it show on her face.

Now's when I regret avoiding stables..

Reaching out to the lake behind her, she called to the waters, ready to attack if there were any signs of trouble. Continuing to smile, she replied.

"Well, I live away from the city close to the stable! I'm here today visiting a friend."
