Let that be known! Words are thrown onto here and they will be organized later.) WillowStrike Pack… The name is not known among many. But those who are willing to share the tale, warn you. Some say the story itself carries a curse, much like the pack wolves. Whether this is true or not, no one dares find out. They live in the high mountains, in the deepest and darkest pine woods. The air so frigid, it could freeze your wet little nose. The pack wolves are isolated and cold to others. Some members have taken a life-long oath of silence. You may see the rare sight of a pack leader or a more important wolf of the pack. Or- a wolf.. with an elk head? A mutant, no. But its head is covered in a mask. An elk mask. Females tend to wear elk cow heads and males wear elk bull heads. The reason why these decorations are worn is not yet known. Some say it is to protect the identities of the leaders of the pack. The wolves of the pack with elk masks seem to have higher status, or control over the pack. Seemingly all wolves are covered to the bone in scars or wounds. They have cold, dead stares that burn right through your skull. Every wolf seems hardened by the elements of their daily lives. Wolves usually fight for positions inside the pack. The rest of the pack can challenge an alpha or beta for their higher status. These fights can occur rarely or often, based on how strong the current leaders are or how often or fiercely they establish their dominance. \|~~~\| Who wears the masks? Alphas, Beta wolves, Herbalists or Undertakers. Most other wolves wear other accessories, either to cover their face or more prominent features. Do they have relations with other packs? No. The WillowStrike pack tries to keep fully to themselves. They believe others could exploit them if they learn too much. How do they get the elk heads? The pack does have a close ex-member who prepares the elk heads for them. They send over the elk head and the wolf takes all the nasty parts out and covers the inside with leather. The eyes are glass replicas which are painted to appear as eyes. Why do some wolves take an oath of silence? Wolves can take an oath of silence for many reasons.
