Can I dry herbs?

I've noticed that certain herbs I've collected have the description "If dried, it can turn into a nice, soft bedding for newborn puppies." I was wondering how I would be able to do that, if it is an action that can be completed and not just part of the description. Thanks in advance : )

You don't have to actually do, if you go to hoard > crafting you can turn them into nesting material. It's just flavour text :)
