@Val Go to your profile and scroll down to "Edit Account Settings". You should see a field called "Tag URL". You'll need to use an image hosting site like imgur to upload the tag and then paste the image address there @Wolfgate It's likely that gold cone prices will go up as more people join, but there's definitely a good studding market right now. I would look for a cheap(ish) male or sex-changeable female with a Tier II Breed-Only base and 3+ merle markings. However, the price of merles is likely to drop as soon as more spotty markings are released. You could get a breeding male now or wait, but here are some pros and cons for buying one now: Pros: - If you advertise enough, you'll definitely get some stud requests which are easy money - You can breed your own wolves to your male to maximize profit. Merles pass easily and sell well - You should be able to make back what you spend and then start to profit Cons: - The merle market might decline sooner than expected and then you'll have a useless male - If the merles aren't desirable or you have duplicate merles (or the wolf just... doesn't look good) you may not get enough requests to start to profit That being said, I'd recommend buying one if only to have a wolf to breed your females to. I make a pretty penny off of my boy's pups. Even Tier I-based single merles fetch 1-2 GC, and I've never had a pup I couldn't sell. Edit: Don't customize your breeding male. They're not worth it. For the price of customizing you could get a quad merle, and quads are very easy to get requests for. IF you customize, make sure your wolf at least has good stats (350+) or you probably won't make money off of him. |

Sorry for the late reply! Thank you for such a comprehensive answer! Now I'm seriously considering just going for it. So you say customizing isn't worth it unless the wolf has good stats? Would it be wise to buy a high stated wolf and then customize them or just go for a quad merle like you recommended? I'm just a little hesitate about going full merle because if the admins introduce cooler markings, even one like that may become worthless. But I'm thinking that a pretty tier II with high stats would always be in style. Thanks in advance again! |

It's a double sided issue. Yes merles may go out of style, but high stat pups are constantly being bred and so breeding male stats will rise and 350 won't be high anymore. If your lead is your breeding male then you can level him pretty easily to gain stats, but if he's not then gaining stats takes a loooong time. Personally id advise a Tier II Breed Only base, preferably with a few merles. You can customise with marking applicators to keep the merles for value, and reduce the merle opacity if you don't like the look. Then you can have a pretty customized wolf AND play the merle market. Anything you choose now is pretty much guaranteed to go out of style because the game is just starting and there will definitely be more markings released and better statted pups bred. Honestly it's up to you, but those are my thoughts. |

Hello! Both of the points you made are very good! I didn't even consider using marking applicators and opacity changers on a merle wolf! That's an amazing idea and I'm probably going to go with that. It will hopefully be cheaper than a full customization and if its not, at least the wolf is guaranteed to bring in some cash for a little while. I like my main male too much to trade him out for another wolf. But is it true that scouts earn stats the second fastest? P.S. I'm sorry for asking you all of these questions! |

hey! I joined a couple days ago and honestly im kind of struggling. I usually can learn pretty quickly how to play a game and get good at it, but for some reason I'm not excelling here. I also came from lioden, Although I actually quit a year or two ago now in favor of other sites. I feel like I'd enjoy this site more- but I just don't understand a lot. I used to hoard MUTTS on Lionden, so clearly I will have to play it differently on this site... |

Don't apologize for asking questions, that's what the thread is for! Ask as many as you'd like :) I haven't noticed a difference in how quickly they gain stats, and I think it depends on how often your wolf fulfils its role. My scouts are higher that than my hunters, but that's most likely because I send out my scouts every hour but often miss some daily hunts so my hunters gain exp slowly. I'd say it's pretty probable and definitely worth assigning the scout role to the wolves you want to gain stats, but I can't say for sure. |

Thank you! Regarding breeding, should I be breeding my females every single time they go into heat? Is it guarenteed to get pups if I breed them? I’m still very confused on the mechanics of breeding in general. |

@Mutt I'm so sorry, I just saw your comment! Is there something specific you need help with? @Aster You could, but a lot of pups will die. I breed mine every heat and only protect high value pups like triple+ merles and Tier II/Breed-only based pups. If you want to ensure a pups survival, you'll need to give it its own pupsitter for the first few days, and then you can move it to a multi-pup sitter. If you don't want any pups to die and can't get enough pupsitters for each, then you'll need to miss a few heats. And yes, successful breeding always results in pups. I say successful because breedings can be unsuccessful (especially with wolves that have lower fertilities) but if you keep trying you're pretty much guaranteed to get a success. |

Thank you for being so patient! I really appreciate all of your help! I think I only have one more question. Is the most effective way to find a suitable breeding male to compare wolves in the trading center with studs currently available? I figure if a market wolf has desirable traits they will already be studded well in the studding market. Thank you in advance, again, again! |
