Hi! Can I have some questions? Frist - is (in your opinion) total schuffle worth its price? I kinda want to buy at least one but I'm not sure. I would use it on some female in my pack. I don't know if spending 30 GC just to get common based wolf with 10 random markings is wise. Second - do you think getting every female pregnant would be worth it? Almost all of my wolves are wolves claimed from explore with two or maybe three markings. I pay 1 GC for one stud. I had a hard time deciding whether I should only breed my best females (probably bought from other players) or should I have as many pregnant dams as I can, hoping that some pups will be good for me or for sale. And can I have your advice on pricing please? Three puppies were born in my pack today (1, 2, 3) and I have a feeling that they could be worth something! |

1) It's really a gamble. I've done two - on one I got a merle marking, on the other I got mostly low tier markings. Only one looked good. If you're looking to make your wolf look nicer, go for customization instead. If you want rma-exclusive marks, use RMAs. I wouldn't use a total shuffle again because both of mine were honestly awful lol, but of course it's your decision in the end. I've seen some really nice TS'd wolves and I've seen some really ugly ones. 2) This one is tough. If you intend to keep all the puppies until they're old enough to be sold, then no. Only breed as many pups as your pupsitters can support. I recommend one sitter per pup until they're protected enough to be moved to multi-pup sitters (for a 60% sitter, this means having two pups at 70% so they each get 30% protection). IF you're okay with letting dud pups die, then go for it. I mass breed and only protect my Tier II based pups and my pups with at least 2 merle markings unless I have extra sitters. Other pups are left off of the sitters. If they survive, I sell them. If not, it's not really a loss because they'd go for 1 GC tops (in the case of single merles). 3) Pricing:

Thank you for your answer! <3 Do you think changing puppy's 2 sex would be worth it? I don't desperately need GC right now so maybe changing its sex and getting him/her pregnant a few times would be a better idea? |

Possibly! I'd recommend breeding to a 3+ merle Monochrome Light II stud for the best results. I know of at least one person (me.. it's me lol) desperately searching for a double+ merle melchior who would pay a pretty penny for one. You can also get Rime and Titanium from the kind of stud I mentioned, which are both breed-only and tier II. |

Thanks for the help! Could I ask another question regarding breeding males - how do you choose which male to set as your breeding male? What factors do should I be considering? Thank you! |

Factors you should consider are base & base genetics, markings, and stats. Check the current market value of those factors for each wolf you're considering. Base & Base Genetics: A tier-II breed only base is pretty much the best thing you can go for, but certain bases are worth more than others. Babes like Arkose, Peach, and Sarder are currently pretty popular, whereas bases like Saffron and Jacinthe aren't as easy to sell if you end up with those bases on your pups. Aim for a popular base or one with the same genetics. For Peach this means Muted Light II and can include Almond, Buff, Feldspar, and Isabel. In those cases you could put "Breed to another Muted Light II for the best chance to get a Peach pup!" [let me know if you want to know what I mean by that, in case you're not sure of how genetics work yet!] Markings: some markings are more popular than others. RMA-exclusive marks [especially merles and tamaskan unders] are popular, as are markings that allow pups to get combo color marks. Check the guide to combo color markings Here. If your male already has combo color markings, that's a bonus Stats: Anything over 300 is good, and the higher you go, the better it is. Lower stat wolves with good base and markings don't need high stats, but better stats do add value Let me know if I need to explain anything further or if you have other questions |

That makes sense, thanks so much! If I don't have any of those types, is it worth it just setting one of my current males as a my breed male, and then requesting outside studs? |

It costs 20 GC to retire your breeding male early and another 25 GC to set a new one before your cool down is up. Don't set a breeding male unless you're sure you want to keep him for a while. If you intend to stud out anyway, then it's better to just wait until you get a male or sex-changeable female with some of the above traits (or just one that you really like and wouldn't mind breeding your girls to!) |
