Befriending NBW in heat?

Just wondering, do you ever befriend a NBW who is already in heat, or are all of them 8 days away from heat no matter what? Is it a level thing? I couldn't find anything about this in guides. Thanks!

If you're coming from Lioden, I understand the confusion because I was in the same boat!
For NBW, regardless of the level, you won't be able to find them in heat.

I'd recommend taking a look at this guide here which explains the differences between Wolvden and Lioden!
