Sentinel Hounds Location Grasslands The tall grass reaches towards the sky in waves of golden and green hues throughout the land that the Sentinel Hounds have claimed to call home. The tall strands are constantly twisting and curling in delicate dances as wind travels over the flat lands, providing cover for the canines to lurk and stalk after smaller prey that hides within. Dips in the land offer areas that they nest within, out of sight from prying eyes. Nearing the western portion of the territory is where they spend the rainy seasons, hiding under small out-cropping's of rocks that offer shelter from the rain.
A long twisting river cuts it's way along the outer-most edge of their border to spill into tiny streams that branch further into their lands. The water source, known to them as The Red Clay River, acts as a natural barrier between them and the northern lands. Over-flowing during the rainy portions of the year the pack only draw close to it when the Autumn months draw near, seeking fish and other creatures that are preparing for the long winter months.
Temperament Neutral Despite their name meaning soldiers and guardians the Sentinel Hounds are rather reclusive at this time. Low in numbers and building their strength for the coming year they have yet to wander any distances that would bring them to close to wandering eyes. Despite this they also refrain from shying away from outsiders that willingly wander into their lands, quick to approach with accepting, but, cautious words. Lead Wolf Jackdaw A call or sighting of a single corvid is often related to the summoning of death or misfortunate depending on who you ask, which may or may not ring true. Some say that two corvids are for joy, which if this hold any merit then the crow that follows Jackdaw might just be a good omen. When it comes to this cream-toned wolf there's many things that seem to be left up to chance or mystery. Most of his answers to prying questions are open-ended or confusing snippets at best. One of the few that seem too understand the sullen male is Rook, his second-in-command. The two are rarely found far from each other and will silently gravitate towards each other when not occupied with other pack responsibilities. Despite this Jackdaw and Rook aren't mates nor do they have any form of romantic interest in each other.
In appearance Jackdaw is smaller then most wolves and settles on the side of being lean. His coat is white with grey and cream tinting to it, which often allows for him too settle down to blend into the lighter stone areas near the west part of the territory or into the golden fields that lay closer to the center of their land. The most shocking aspect of his appearance however is the bright amber eyes that seem to lock onto whatever he's looking at as though attempting too burrow into whatever it is.
