I just love drawing! Dedicated myself to art for the nine past months. but it still sucks And time to time, it started getting. Boring. Ya know? Like, same stuff same brushes. I am not talking about switching apps. My recent drawing. Another one. So... My creativity is very limited so eh.. I want y'all to offer some challenges! Hmm.. What about.. drawing without seeing the colors? Oh nah, I learned the spectre... Drawing with inverted colors? Na-nah, I know their opposites. Drawing upside down? Big no, I'd have a migraine. As you see, this is all I could offer to myself. So get down here and post your amazing ideas! You can most preferably post a few ideas so I'll choose one I find the most challenging. |

Draw a self portrait! It doesn't have to be realistic, it could just be a representation of how you see yourself, doesn't even have to be as a human, for example you could draw yourself as a bird instead, maybe with a few of your favorite things or doing an activity you enjoy. Alternatively, draw someone else in your life! What do you think of when you think of them? How do they make you feel, what items would you connect with them, etc. Draw a dinosaur, we've learned a lot more things recently about how they might have looked - like some were feathered! They're relatives of birds, so drawing one while thinking about that could be fun. Or just draw a "classic" dinosaur, they're cool too. Draw from life, a small object you can put nearby while you draw it or that's already in the room with you, or take a picture and base a drawing on that. Maybe a view outside one of the windows of your house or a place you visit often. Try to draw an emotion or a feeling, for example "Excitement" or "Unsettling", draw something that represents that feeling in whatever way comes to mind. Good luck! I like your cockatiel drawing, the colors and texture to it are nice, and the feather crest is well done :) |

1. S c r i b b l e . Put your pen to your paper or screen and... you get the idea. Do this for as long or as little as you like, maybe even until you see something in the scribble. 2. Stare at s c r i b b l e . Look for objects, characters, words, landscapes, or forms. If you're having trouble seeing anything, you can make a continuous 2D or 3D ribbon following the direction of the s c r i b b l e . 3. Draw I guess? Just try not to go out of bounds of the s c r i b b l e too much. It becomes more randomized that way. 4. Have fun! This step is mandatory, lol |

After a few minutes of s c r I b b l e this was my progress. Uhh... Another minute of staring into the scribble's soul, attempting to see something. Oh! I think I recognize, sorry, a bleeding out animal? I got it. So I cleaned it out a bit. It looked even worse. This is what I call a cleanout! Now I can draw. It's done! And painted! But I went in two versions. This! And this.. Very *sobs* sad. Click at your own *sobs* risk. AHAHAHHA YESSS BLEED THE HELL OUT, A WOLF I JUST MADE UP |

For something more complicated, I notice you don't seem to do detailed backgrounds much. You could try drawing a wolf/dragon in an urban setting with perspective. Something where they're actually interacting with the environment (e.g., getting lunch at a roadside cafe, robbing a bank, taking the train home). |
