"I've been going here for awhile, would you like to get coffee or something together? I can try draw you a map of the place." Valentine offered. He had no ulterior motives.

Valentine was glad to have somewhat familiar company, it was an excuse to not have to talk to other people on the way there. He gestured Asher to follow him before heading to a local café. It was rare that he got to stop by, between catching public transport, classes and other things.

Annalise had finally finished her lunch, shutting her laptop and unfinished work with a quiet snap. She tied her apron back around her waist and went behind the counter, sending her co-worker off to their own lunch. The cafe was rather quiet, so when a pair of people stepped in, Annalise jerked her head towards the door. A kind smile broke out on her face at the two college-aged people, and she walked up to the register while they came up to the counter.

"Hiya! What can I get for you guys? Our morning special is technically over, but if you decide you want it, I'll convince the cook to make you some." She said with a playful wink, before looking at the pair kindly as she waited for them to make their orders.

Valentine didn't need to think much on it, he wasn't picky when it came to food or drinks and rather enjoyed trying new things. "And a medium frappe, please. I'll pay." He chimed in after Asher. If the other boy was to protest, he'd already rummage through his bag to retrieve his wallet.

Annalise nodded at the pairs order, typing it into the cash register and pulling out the cups needed to make the drinks. She raised her brow at the pair arguing over who was going to pay, but she gave them a small smile before slipping away from the register. "I'll make your guy's drinks, then we can decide whose gonna pay when their all done." She said with a smile, before grabbing the two cups and going about making the drinks. Her movements were flowing and natural, obvious she had done this thousands of times before.
