How Do You Acquire Wolf Decor? (birds, butterflies, and plants)

Hello!

     I saw that at the raccoon shop you can buy wolf companions but I also know that you can find them while exploring - I found a butterfly myself. However, I don't remember how I got it. For example, when a butterfly shows up, do you 'watch' it or 'chomp' it? I would assume watch, as chomping is eating it to receive +1 hunger (like, is there a chance to catch it instead?), but I want to make sure. The same question applies to birds and plants.

Some you can get by choosing "watch", some you can by giving an acorn or just interacting with it.

Most of the other decor you can see in wardrobe can be bought at the raccoon wares. Some is biome-exclusive and can only be bought in your home biome. Here is a spreadsheet of which decor can be found at which biome.

Some decor also only appears during certain weather.
