Pretty much every decor that is focused on the head position on relaxed is bugged. You can see that the artist pretty much just lazily rotated the decors and slapped them in place, and not even well. Speaking as a custom decor artist, I don't know that this would have been accepted into the site if I submitted it - the middle volukros feathers are completely off centre, the sparky eyes are completely disconnected from the eyes, and the pherris symbol is off centre. I could submit a bug report about these, but why bother? This site never fixes art errors. There are pending art errors from last year that haven't been fixed, like the floating dove decors, or the Arctic fox decor whose bug report is an entire year old. It's clear this site either doesn't have the staff to carry off updates without massive issues every time, or just doesn't care. Go on, search for a lunar event which didn't come with immediate large issues like the applicators not working correctly; I'll wait. |

Regarding quality control in updates - this update but also others: I appreciate that there are hundreds of files to review for every month, but the site should consider hiring more artists or QC staff to review them if the existing artists don't have enough time to do it comprehensively themselves. I assume lack of time and resources is also the reason why the art bugs mentioned in my previous post have gone unfixed for an entire year. I understand you're doing the best you can with the time and resources you have, but you deserve better than to be so overworked that all of these problems keep falling through the cracks. Wolvden as a site shows all the major signs of really needing a larger number of developers, and it's not fair to you to have to deal with this much work on top of Lioden without additional support that you're clearly not getting. On other pet sites like this, there are not major issues with every update, because they have sufficient staff for the work and the quality control both. I can't imagine you're having a pleasant working experience with how things are right now. This goes for those in charge of coding too - every coding-intensive update always has major issues to begin with that would be far less prevalent if there were enough staff for the work and the quality control. I hope things get better for you all in the future. I look at other sites with a sufficient staff force and anti-crunch policies and know how much better things could be - for the players and the developers. You really deserve better than this. |
