I mentioned this back in Tala's dead/a spirit post but in my headcannon (lore time be ready) Back then, when wolves (or other animals, birds, deer's, cats, etc.) take their last breath, they die. They wake up to a god (unknown as of now) and gets a choice, to either become a pup again, or go to the dreamlands for eternal happiness. Dreamlands back then was like heaven, all the food, all the resources, everything. But then the god of the dreamlands noticed something. He saw wolves that weren't dead appear the dreamlands. They found a way. The god didn't know how they (the wolves) were able to enter the dreamlands. He tried and tried but kept failing. 'How did they get there?' He thought. It was until many years later he retired (the god) since many pack leaders is visiting, and trapping small animals (the gateway to get into the dreamlands, it trapped small animals, but when they wake up, they're still in the dreamlands), till their death, just to be back there, still not safe. The Dreamland wolves got into a war. That's why you see a lot of them fighting you, they might mistake you as one of them. This wasn't supposed to happen. Was it? Or, was it planned? |
