Romeo liked the respectful tone of the other male. He got back to his paws and dipped his head in gratitude.
"It's nice to meet you, too. My name's Romeo. What are yours?"

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the woods, Aurubu lounged around, feeling the sunlight dapple her fur. Her paws dipped into the crystal clear river, watching as the water lapped at them. Her gaze shifted upwards, to the gaps in the foliage. Sun-high. She thought to herself. She had plenty of time to waste.

Suddenly, her stomach growled, and she resisted the urge to leap up and check who's there, but only to realize it was just her. Sighing to herself, Aurubu retracted her paws and shook them. The wolf lapped at the water before heading off. She tasted the air, and caught the scent of wolves. Not what I'm looking for, but a pack? No. The scents didn't match one another.

Aurubu put off her quest to hunt for a little while, as curiosity piqued her. It wasn't too uncommon to come across some loners here, a group or pack more rarer. She padded towards the scents, until she heard voices. Three wolves, as she had guessed.

Aurubu quietly found a spot where the wolves couldn't see her all too easily, and watched the group, her eyes gleaming.
