Today was just like any other day for Donnie. He had woken up, taken a shower, and was now on his way to the office. It had been a while since he had gone in, since he was working from home, so he had decided it was finally time to get out of the house. Unfortunately for him, today would be anything but normal.

He heard screams echoing out of a nearby alleyway, but it would seem that no one else was paying attention. He knew that this city was clan-run, but he had never witnessed any of their business before.

Soon the business deal turned bad. A shoot out had taken place, causing most of the neighborhood to panic. Carlos, being kinda used to this by now, took cover behind his vehicle. Even a nice day like this, had to turn out badly.

While Donnie had been able to ignore the screaming, he wasn't able to stop himself from investigating the gunshots. Yes, this city is mafia-run, but shootouts didn't normally happen in the calmer areas of the city. Let alone with so many people around.

"Hello?! Is anyone there?" He called down the alleyway. He had seen the black car, but he wasn't sure if anyone was still here.

Down the alleyway, Carlos stood with his back facing Donnie. The gunshots had stopped just as soon as they had happened, the other guy running off in his own car. Nonetheless Carlos cleared his throat and sighed. He wore his normal little attire. Long black jacket, long-sleeved unbuttoned shirt, back pants. The man stood out clearly, and it was like he was shouting out to the world that he was in the mafia.

He heard Donnie the same moment he turned around. "Nothing to be concerned about." He said, acting like he just hadn't nearly killed someone.

Now standing directly behind the man, he began to notice the blood tracings on the ground. He couldn't quite tell if they were new or old, but he didn't want to find out. He then noticed the strange fashion sense, and that this man had been hiding his face. (Oh shit.. This guy is-) He then began to very slowly turn to back away. He didn't say a word, hoping the man wouldn't notice his sudden disappearance. Donnie just wanted out of this before it was too late.
