"H-Hey man, I don't know who you are or what you do, but I'm just trying to get to work on time. I don't want any trouble." While this man was quite a bit smaller than Donnie, he knew better than to underestimate someone he suspected to be a part of the mafia. However, there was one thing that had confused him; Why had the man shown his face? Surely if he was a mafia member, he would have wanted to keep his identity hidden? ( This man gives off a dangerous aura, but still . . . Maybe he's just a normal person like me.? )

He looked at Donnie, seeming to look him up and down. He soon out his hands in his pockets before he replied, "Like I said before.. I'm not gonna hurt you. I was merely protecting myself in self defense. Nothing to worry about." He seemed to be sizing Donnie up silently, not saying much about it. He ran a hair through his short hair with a sigh

He shifted his weight from side to side, and began to meddle with the fabric of the bottom of his shirt. He had not told anyone this before, but he often did this when he was anxious or afraid. "I-I've got to go. Uhm- Ha-Have a nice day!" He mumbled as he swiftly turned to leave.

He was now tugging even harder at the bottom of his shirt, trying to keep himself calm enough to respond. "I-I didn't see much, just heard the gunshots from up the street. Like everyone else.." Though Donnie had seen the man from the 'business deal' fleeing from the scene, along with some blood, he didn't know how much that might incriminate him, so he lied. Hoping this man couldn't see right through him, he was trying to hold his voice strong.

Carlos seemed to notice how much this man feared him, he knew he had to see more than what he was telling him, but something this guy... Kept him from wanting to hurt him or anything. Posted 2022-05-12 19:15:05 (edited) #745194 Donnie didn't linger around, he walked as fast as he could out of that alley without running, fearing that the man may become suspicious of him. He tried to get himself together, but his nerves were shaken. It had been around five or so minutes since he had left the alley, and he had now realised that he wasn't just rattled, he was having a full-blown panic attack. He decided it would probably be best to wait another day or so to head into the office. He sighed and mumbled, "I guess I'm working from home again.." as he ran a hand through his hair. And with that, he waited at a bus stop until one arrived to take him back to his apartment building. All through the ride, he was shaking furiously, though he was trying to hide it. He kept getting odd looks from strangers, not that that helped him any. Once he arrived home, he closed all of his blinds and laid down in his bed. Though he did not notice it at first, he was slowly drifting off to sleep. // Feel free to play around with this! You could take this in any direction you want! Time skip, new POV, talking to a friend, anything! ^^ //

Donnie is absolutely wasted, and then you can decide why Carlos is there? Donnie could have a run in with a rival clan of Carlos, and then Carlos has to decide if he wants to step in or not. It would be some nice drama, I've got an idea, but I can't tell you or it's no fun XD We'll just go with the flow! ^3^
