He watched as Carlos broke down crying. What the fuck did I do.?
He's right. He should have just left you there.
Carlos halted in front of the door, and Donnie took advantage of that time. He went over to him and grabbed his wrist gently, trying not to provoke him. Unfortunately, Carlos wasn't entirely stable at the time. He flipped around and raised the gun still in his hand.

Carlos whirled around and pointed his gun at him, his hand shaking. "Let go oh me. Please don't make me hurt you."  His hand was shaking to the point, that a rattling sound could be heard. He tried to jerk his wrist free.

Still holding on to his wrist, Donnie stared into his eyes.
"Carlos, I'm not making you do anything. I'm not even holding you, okay?" He reassured him as he showed him how loose his grip was.
"Just try to calm down. Please, just try to calm down." He pleaded, slowly trying to lower the gun.
Dammit- Why is it so hard to be calm right now?! This is my fault. Ugh, no! I can deal with my emotions later, but right now, I'd prefer not to die.

Carlos shook his head, not looking at Donnie's face. "No. Just stay the hell away from me" he said as he backed away from him, keeping the gun pointed at him. His hands still shook and his wrist was still bleeding.

Donnie slowly let go of his wrist, and then backed up a little bit. He knew he'd have to either treat Carlos' wrist, or get him to a hospital, and he didn't know how they would explain what had happened. He also didn't think he could get Carlos to agree to go to a hospital in his current mental state, so he decided to just do it himself.
It's fine- I was going to be a doctor anyways, I took plenty of courses before I switched majors. This is fine. Probably.

"Carlos-" he spoke in a hushed voice, trying his best to calm him down. "We have to get you patched up. You have major arteries in your wrists, if you don't do something about it soon, you might bleed out."
Donnie knew there was a chance Carlos may just turn and run out the door, but he wasn't sure he would even make it to the car before passing out.

There you have it. His master plan. He was going to draw out the conversation long enough for Carlos to just pass out from blood loss. It was the only way he thought he could take him anywhere without being shot himself.

Carlos was already starting to feel dizzy from the effects of blood loss but he clenched his jaw and kept walking

"I'm the one with something to lose, okay? It's you. You're who I'm worried about, and you know that I give a damn, so don't pretend no one cares."
"You have no idea how to dress those, so just quit being a whiny little bitch and let me help you." He spoke with force, but he wasn't yelling.

"That's some pretty depressing knowledge to have, Carlos." He was struggling to come up with things he could use to keep the conversation going.
Carlos just stood there shaking. He took his hand off the wall to keep walking, and then began to sway.
Donnie rushed over to him and grabbed the gun before he could react. He could feel it as Carlos tried to hit him, but he had lost too much blood to do much more than just stand there.
"Shit- I'm sorry, but you're not gonna be able to stay awake much longer. Just trust me on this." He sighed, propping Carlos up on his shoulder.
"You'll forgive me for this, I promise."

Carlos continued to struggle to stay conscious. He could hear Donnie talking but he didn't quiet comprehend what he was saying. He swayed again and he cursed quietly as his head fell against Donnie's shoulders.
