He smiled and went downstairs. His mom was already in the kitchen, making who knows what.
"Mamá, ¿qué estás cocinando? Huele bien!" He commented, reaching above her to get something from the cabinet.
She smacked his hand away from the cabinet. "¡No! Te estoy cocinando la comida ahora mismo! Los bocadillos pueden esperar hasta más tarde." She paused to cut up another carrot.
"¿Por qué no vas a practicar tus poderes? Normalmente estarías ahí abajo ahora." She asked him, sounding curious.
He gave her a look, but she was serious. He sighed and groaned, "Bien, bien.. Te quiero!" he called over his shoulder as he went downstairs.

Y'know what, I'll just translate lol-
Mom, what are you cooking? It smells good!
No! I am cooking you food right now! Snacks can wait until later.
Why don't you go practice your powers? You'd normally be down there by now.
Fine, fine.. Love you! ))

Avery had heard them talking but he couldn't figure out what any of it meant. He knew a little bit of Spanish but he was fluent in it. Skye rested her head on Avery's chest as they stayed laying down.

He made sure to close the door behind him, just in case Avery decided to come down. And with that, he shifted forms. His horns almost touched the ceiling when he was in his pureblooded form, because of the extra height, but he was always careful not to hit them on anything. He walked over to go set up the practice dummies and tried to use his telekinesis to do so. It didn't work very well and he ended up just doing it manually.
After a half hour or so, he was just screwing with the stars on his skin at this point. They were shiny and he was easily distracted, not a great combo. He heard the door open and called,
"Mamá, ¿eres tú? ¿Ya terminó la cenaaaa?"

Mom, it that you? Is dinner done yetttt?" ))

Avery had kinda wandered around the house quietly. He had just mainly been exploring when he saw the door. Skye must have smelled Hiro in there and she kept whimpering wanting inside.

Skye instantly went over to Hiro and started licking his hand happily.

"Oh- It's fine! Just uh, knock next time please!" He added, trying not to seem too nervous.
He pet Skye, who jumped up on him.
Skye! Get down! he heard Avery think.
"Uh- Amy, she can't hear you." He laughed, still not noticing his ears.

Just finished my EOC for French- It was easy U30 ))

Hiroshi's eye's went wide. He tried his best to come up with an excuse but he couldn't. He quickly shifted them back and very smoothly replied,
"What do you mean? What about them?" He kept his expression calm, though he was anything but.
