This time, Hiro couldn't hold back is laughter. He let out a slight chuckle at the sight of this short kid flipping off someone who looked like a giant in comparison,
"Damn, you're one brave soul, Avery." He laughed, smiling a bit.
Needless to say that Jonas was not pleased. He rolled his eyes, flipped Avery off in return, and walked off with the rest of the guys. This left Avery and Hiro standing alone. He knew he needed to apologise for earlier, and this was the best chance to do it.
"Hey uh- I'm sorry. About what I said earlier, and about my guys. They don't really know when to quit." He said as he bent down a bit, letting the dog sniff his hand. He read her collar.
"Skye, huh? Well aren't you just the prettiest puppy ever~" He cooed, almost forgetting that Avery was there. Skye let him pet her for a minute, then he stood up.

And no, you're not supposed to pet active service dogs- Just for the sake of the rp ))

Avery brushed himself off and he picked up his things. He kinda shrugged in response to Hiro apologizing. Skye went right back over to Avery's side. He couldn't help the small smile that made its way onto his face when Hiro started petting Skye. He bent down and pet her as well and she wagged her tail.

Hiro watched him pick himself up, and he noticed that he didn't have a backpack.
"Hey, do you not have a bag or something?" He asked, realising halfway through his sentence that he couldn't really respond without ASL, which Hiro did not know.

Avery gave a small shake of his head. He adjusted so he could just hold his stuff in one hand. He shifted his weight a little again.

He stood there for a moment, until he spoke again.
"Do you want some help with that? It's the least I could do after what happened with my friends." He offered, seeming very genuine.

He looked a little shocked at what Hiro said. Not many people ever offered to help him, and after a moment of thought he decided to agree. Avery gave a small nod.
