I have no clue how we just keep all that in our heads, but who am I to question? =w= ))
My cat is VERY clingy, so he's sitting on my laptop while I try to type. >:| ))

Hitashi probably would have missed the town completely had it not been for the lights shining through the trees. He'd just put his horse away, and was now looking around the market district to see what shops were still open. The sun was well past set now, so many of the vendors had packed up and gone home already.
After a few moments of searching, he managed to find a few open garden shops. He walked up to a stand selling flowers and seeds, and began to observe them. "My, my~ A lovely choice, young man. Hyacinths tend to grow well around here." The woman running the stand smiled up at him as he picked out several packets of seeds. "Ah, yes- I've always loved these! Tell me, do they grow best in pots to be transferred, or could I just plant them in the ground?" He asked, setting the seeds down on the counter for her to total up. "They'll do just fine in the ground. Tell me, dearie, what on earth do you need this many seeds for?" She probed, sounding surprised. "I'm actually a woodworker from Aldonia, but I'm working on a gardening project for a nearby noble." He replied as he handed her the coins. ". . Nearby noble? There aren't many near here, I'm afraid." She seemed to become a bit more hostile, though HItashi had no idea why. "Lord Messores, ma'am. He's a ways west from here." He informed her, confused as to how she didn't know. "Well then, take your seeds and get out of here. I don't want you causing any trouble." She glared at him, pushing the small brown bag towards him. She seemed to be staring to some place behind him, but Hitashi didn't dare look back.

He'd gotten mostly everything he needed, and was eager to get out of this suddenly hostile town. On his way out, though, he passed by another stand. It was selling tree saplings, and Hitashi got an idea. "One willow, please." He requested, putting the coin on the counter as a small old man bagged up the sapling. Neither of them said a word, and Hitashi was somewhat grateful for that. He picked up the tree and headed back to the stables, still unable to shake the feeling that he was being watched.

Sorry lol- I totally textwalled you there XD ))

If it seems like I'm avoiding how a character looks or their name, it's probably because they're a work in progress lol
What kind of cat ? I have one too, but he's not clingy just pudgy. ))

Those minding their own business or passing by had to take a second look at the almost towering figure as they walked through the streets. A woman that expelled unwavering strength, she would've made a fine addition to the king's army but the dark clothes she wore suited her much better. Her wine red eyes didn't leave Hitashi's figure, as if that a single blink meant that he'd disappear from her sights. She wasn't instructed to approach him, but the people were drawing attention to her with their skittish glances or stares of awe. If she stood next to Grim, she'd get mistaken for a higher rank rather than him.
"There's no way that's a king's solider, look at her attire. Must be that…" a civilian's words trailed off as the woman in question made a movement in their direction, they were quit to shut their mouth.

THE WAY SHE CHANGED HER TONE WITH HITASHI, SCREAMING CRYING How dare she,, ))

Alright lol XD ))
I actually don't know what breed he is- His name is Kevin, and he's just over two years old. He's got mid-long floofly grey fur :3 ))
What's yours? :0 ))

Hitashi made sure that everything he'd purchased was secure in his saddle pack before setting off again. He rode quickly through the woods, somewhat upset by the sudden change in personality the people there had seemed to have. He felt many of them staring at him, and it had made him rather uncomfortable. As he rode through the forest, he could've sworn he heard echoes of his horse's footsteps. His paranoia was growing too prominent to ignore, so he suddenly skidded to a halt, not moving. He listened carefully for a moment, but no other footsteps could be heard. ". . Stop being so paranoid, dammit." He muttered out loud, picking up the reigns again.
It took him only forty-five minutes to get back to the estate, and he immediately felt as if he were being watched again. He sighed and simply gave up on trying to figure it out. If the creepy staff there felt like watching him, then who was he to stop them? Hitashi was officially too shaken up to sleep, so he just unloaded the supplies and went inside, heading towards the garden. He hummed to an old lullaby under his breath as he walked, though he hadn't noticed it.

Ikrrrrr- Fr. The lion, the witch, and the audacity of this bitch. ))
Love the new char btw! She seems AWESOMEEEE >:3 ))

Sounds very cute ! Mine's just a ginger tabby named Felix ))

When Hitashi and the one acting as his shadow returned, it took him a couple of moments to go find him. Grim wasn't used to having guests, he almost forgot what formalities were in order for the occasion. His staff briefed him on what had happened and he decided that he'd ask the other man too. His reputation was already taking effect, he didn't want to scorn Hitashi's name and business.
He approached the door entering into the garden, but hovering around not entering the lifeless place. Hitashi seemed to be in his own world, he couldn't bring himself to disturb him.

Awhh~ Fluffy baby! :3 ))
Also, this scene is so cute, but nothing's even happened yet :,] ))

Hitashi set everything down and began looking around to see what he could move on his own. He was humming and smiling softly as he dug out the dead plants and set them aside, loosening up the dirt underneath. Once he'd gotten a section of the flowerbed cleared, he grabbed some of the hyacinth seeds and spread them out on the ground, tucking them into the small holes left behind by the old plants.
Once they were in the soil, he moved onto the next section and began digging up the dead plants yet again. He'd have to repeat this process several times in order to clear the whole garden, but Hitashi knew he'd probably have things at least cleared out by dawn. After all, he had no plans of sleeping, so what was stopping him from simply working his paranoia away? Once the grass and flowers were planted, he'd be able to begin cleaning out and renewing the tiles and rails of the garden.
By the time he'd made it through the second section, the place was already looking slightly better. Then again, this garden was rather large, so he still had plenty of work ahead of him. Not that he minded, of course. Hitashi enjoyed gardening, and it was peaceful out here at night.

Love a man who's gardens 😫😫 LMAO ))

Although he was hesitant to step foot into the garden, he kept a close eye on Hitashi.
"It's not like you to admire the view, then again I care not for your happenings." The mercenary that had been in his office when Hitashi first arrived stepped up near Grim, speaking coyly. He wouldn't allow little comments to rattle him, not from him at least. "Make yourself useful and ask the kitchen to make culinary arrangements." Grim said, not even giving the mercenary a look. He wouldn't allow Hitashi to work on an empty stomach, it was impolite after all not to provide proper substance to a guest. He saw him more as a guest rather than another employee. No one would argue about the special treatment due to the rarity of it.
"Tsk, so demanding. It's an ugly look on you." The mercenary smirked with a hint of frustration but followed through with the orders.
Grim soon realised he'd been watching the other for awhile and quickly tried to busy himself with something else in the meantime, before a staff member retrieved them both to eat and drink.

Dude, I love the dialogue- ))
I kNOw, RIgHt? SO hot. XD ))

Hitashi had made it almost halfway through the garden before he finally just flopped on the ground and looked up at the sky for a bit. His hair was messy, and his hands were covered in dirt, but he didn't mind it. He could've sworn he heard footsteps a bit earlier, but he no longer felt the need to care.
After several minutes, he popped back up and brushed himself off, going back to the pile of random junk and supplies. He sighed and decided he'd just finish clearing out the garden tomorrow, so he was fully prepared to just head back to the stables. Something caught his attention, though. There were several lamps scattered throughout the garden. Granted, many of them looked as if they hadn't been used in years. Then again, that was probably true. Hitashi pulled out a small box of matches and walked up to one of the posts, carefully lighting it. He admired its glow for a moment before following the stone paths to light as many as he could find. While this didn't really have much of a practical purpose, it was fun for Hitashi to go around and find the long-forgotten lanterns. They also happened to give off a rather appealing glow in the darkness of the night.

I was meant to reply hours ago but got distracted trying to figure out what completely minor and insignificant character I should use as a maid LMAO 0(-(
Then I got lost Googling how old the sun is and what would happen if Earth had 100 moons ))

"Aldonian, stop tampering with the garden!" A voice called out to the woodworker, where ever the source had come from wasn't visible. "Go inside before the night creates gobble up a silly little man such as yourself." They continued with no genuine concern for Hitashi's well-being. It was another one of Grim's staff members, a lot of them were accustomed to being invisible or some way. Society had shunned them and thus they were made to adapt. This one wasn't actually invisible, they were just good at concealing themselves.

Soooo ADHD? XD ))
Also, the sun's gonna run out of fuel in like five billion years .^. ))

Hitashi heard the voice, but completely disregarded it. "Tampering with the garden is my job, I'm afraid!" He called back, lighting the last of the lanterns. "You must admit, they look lovely at night." He continued, though he was mostly talking to himself at this point.
He walked back over to the flower beds and began pulling the dead plants again, feeling determined to just get this done. As he worked, though, he could feel the other staff member staring at him. "You don't have to stay in the shadows, you know. That seems like a fairly depressing way to live if you ask me." He brushed the dirt off of his hands, grabbing another pack of seeds and tearing it open. "I'll tell you what- Feel free to continue lurking in the shadows, but should you ever grow bored of it, I don't think Grim would mind you spending some time outside. It's more peaceful than one would think." He muttered, seeming focused on his work. So focused, in fact, that he hadn't noticed how he'd called Grim by name instead of 'Lord Messores'.

Nah, might be my ASD. I like reading wiki pages and I tend to just tumble down rabbit holes of useless information ))

"Getting lectured by a youngster such as you? How disrespectful, surely your makers raised you better." The hidden staff member huffed, but there was an undertone of amusement. As if Hitashi was daring enough to brush them aside. Hitashi's slip of the tongue didn't go unnoticed unfortunately. "And you so boldly call Master Messores by his first name? My my, you two must be awfully close. The whole estate is already chattering away about you!" Stepping out from the shadows was a person with hot pink hair that flicked outwards and pink eyes to match. They were a little underdressed but their attire was still fancy and formal, definitely someone who belonged on the estate. "Don't bother answering me, I care not for your dribble. The kitchen is working hard to make something to sate both of you." They were chatty, speaking in a demanding and flirtatious tone.
