Hitashi was quite surprised by Grim's actions, and he couldn't help that his face flushed slightly. He looked up at the other person as he spoke, not sure what to say. ". . Thanks." He mumbled, his expression softening a little bit. "You didn't have to do that." He sighed, turning back in the direction they'd been heading in originally. He had no idea why Grim had helped him, and it was only causing him more confusion. They were meant to be employer and employee, but right now it seemed more like they were acquaintances. Maybe even friends. He shook his head slightly, still trying to figure out how formal he was meant to be with this man.
"So, shall we keep going.?" He suggested, wanting to just forget this had happened. His headache had been slowly fading, so it was easier to focus now. He rubbed his wrist a little, still feeling somewhat bad about the shirt.

Yeahhhh, just make sure to breathe :3 ))

"Perhaps, but the rest of my clothing is in close proximity." He replied, keeping up a calm demeanour while he was slowly curling up on the inside. Was it a little excessive? Maybe, but it would stop the bleeding until there was proper care done for it. He slipped back on the rest of the shirt, he'd pretend it was normal but he didn't like having exposed skin. He'd sacrificed his own comfort in favour of Hitashi's.
"Yes, the dinning room is just through that door." Grim nodded his head towards two closed doors, a soft glow emitting from underneath the wood. There was a savoury aroma coming from the direction, warm and fresh food for them waiting.

Brooo- I can feel their awkwardness XD ))

Hitashi gave a small nod, walking up and opening one of the doors. He waited for Grim to go in before heading in himself. He wasn't really sure what to do, so he just stood there anxiously for a moment, attempting to distract himself from the awkward tension in the room.
He was taken back home for a moment in his mind, remembering all the times he'd come downstairs to help his mother with the cooking. He could hear his younger siblings running around while Natsia tried to get them to leave he and his mother to cook in peace. He smiled softly to himself, despite his previous efforts to remain neutral. He laughed quietly, but quickly put an end to that. He refocused himself, keeping his hands down by his sides.

They're so good at their jobs and then this HAHAHA ))

The dinning table was reasonably long, but the table cloth was short and only situated at one end. All but a few chairs were stacked to the side of the room, unused and not needed. Grim never entertained many people, one or two at most and even then they didn't stay long enough to have a meal in this room. He usually ate in his bedroom or office, the two rooms were linked and used for either working or sleeping. He'd fallen asleep quite a few times at his desk before.
He gestured for Hitashi to pick one of the few remaining chairs at the end of the table, where a few food dishes were waiting. "Take a seat, I'll be back in a moment." Grim excused himself, he couldn't continue wearing something that showed off so much skin to his standards. He left the room and was surprised to be met with two staff members, summoned as if knowing he needed something. They probably did. He asked them to fetch a shirt for him.

Ohhhhh boy- This is both awesome and awful at the same timeee XD ))

Hitashi tilted his head a little, but didn't argue. He took a seat and waited, recognizing that a few of these dishes were actually from Aldonia. Hitashi had prepared a few of them before, though he'd never really cooked for anyone aside from his mother and siblings. He silently wondered what recipes they had used, figuring he might ask one of the kitchen staff later.
He closed his eyes for a moment, finally realising how tired he was. He forced himself awake and yawned quietly, though. Judging by the little light that had been coming in through the windows earlier, it was most likely past midnight. He'd worked late nights a lot throughout his life, but never quite this late. His mother would always come in just before twelve to tell him he needed to come inside. He smiled a little at the thought of his mother, unsure of why he was being so sentimental at the moment. Maybe it was just because he missed them, or maybe it was because he hadn't really gotten to say goodbye before he left. Hitashi didn't know how long this project would take him, and the thought of not being able to see his mother for that long made him somewhat nervous. His sister had told him he had something called 'separation anxiety', but he'd brushed it off as complete nonsense. Though, right now, he was thinking that he should have listened.

I forgot to check this earlier, I've been online for the past 6-8 hours ))

The seconds waiting felt long, Grim crossed his arms and tried to be patient. The two staff members hurriedly came back, they just wanted to continue witnessing Hitashi and Grim interacting, although most of them had been sworn off it by now. He discarded the torn shirt for the fresh one, black with loose cuffs. It was dressier than the plain white one he had on. Once clothed appropriately again, he slipped back into the dinning room where Hitashi had already found a place to sit.
"Feel free to begin, I'm not accustomed to company so excuse the discarded furniture." He said as he walked towards the table to take his own seat near Hitashi, leaving a chair empty between them. Grim got settled, breathing evening out as best he could. If silence tried to cast itself across the room, he'd chase it off with words. That's what he told himself in his head at least.

Ooooof- XD ))

Hitashi would be lying if he said he knew what to do. He felt incredibly awkward, and he had no clue how he was meant to act. Dinners back home were normally loud and rowdy, but that was when he was with his family. Grim didn't seem to get much company, so he wasn't sure if it would be appropriate to try and start a conversation. Even if he did think it was alright, he still had no idea what to talk about.
He hesitantly reached across and took a sweet bread roll. They'd been his favorite since he was young, so he was somewhat glad to see them there. As he ate, he tried his best to think of things to talk about. Meanwhile, the other half of him kept saying to just not speak at all. He silently wondered if the kitchen ever needed help. He was a fairly decent cook, so it would be fun to do so. Then again, most of the staff here already seemed to hate him for one reason or the next, so maybe that wasn't the best idea. Besides, he wouldn't be able to read the recipes anyways.

"Their curiosity of you has died down. You don't feel watched anymore, I hope?" Grim began, taking off both his gloves so he could eat. He was fearful to touch other things and not himself, not to be taken in a vulgar way. He took a bread roll only after Hitashi had taken one for himself, to aboid an awkward or uncomfortable hand contact. They'd danced together, being in close proximity before. But that was before he knew who he really was, when he felt that he could relax and let it all go.

Hitashi sighed, giving a small nod as a response. He hated how awkward this felt, and he hated how confusing it was to try and figure out their formality level. After several more minutes of sitting there, the silence felt so loud that it was killing Hitashi inside. He finally caved and began speaking. "I don't mean to be disrespectful, but this is getting on my nerves." He started, looking over at Grim. "How- How formal should I be with you?" He hesitated, unsure of what else to say. "We met at the festival, and you seemed like a completely different person, but now. . I don't know what to think. You're meant to be my employer, but I keep forgetting that, and act too outwardly. I can't decide if I should call you 'Grim', or 'Lord Messores', and I'm sick of trying to figure it out. So tell me, what am I supposed to do here, 'Lord Messores'?" He sighed, crossing his arms anxiously.

The choppy black haired man was glad he asked first. "Lord Messores is what the people and other nobles call me, it's not a name but a title branded onto me. I'm fine with you calling me Grim." He let Hitashi know. Lord Messores had been a title the king gave him after they fell out, it was one of the ways he ruined his reputation. Although it didn't scare off some, such as a past lover who should've listened to all the warnings. Grim seemed so young and he'd already lived a lifetime.
"You don't need to treat me as an employer, due to the way our first meeting was I don't have a right to expect such formalities from you when I lied." He continued, still ashamed of his actions.
