We'll say it's pretty far into the future, like 2096 or something like that, and people all around the world began developing unnatural abilities. If you've seen the darkest minds, you'll recognize this system: They range from unstable to stable, and from total to limited. EX: Unstable Extensive. Stable Moderate. Stable Total. The most dangerous would be unstable and stable totals. They're the most powerful, and have the most deadly types of magic. Unstable or Stable : Can they control their abilities? Total - Limited : How powerful are their abilities? Do they have more than one ability? There's a BIG difference between a total who can control grass, and one who can shapeshift. Abilities vary immensely, and it is rare to find someone with your EXACT same power. However, there are often groups of people in hiding who segregate by basic category. (Such as water, fire, metal, nature, mimics(shapeshifters), etc.) The government saw these people as a threat, and deemed them as being 'too dangerous to walk among us'. It seemed like the only people developing powers were those under the age of twenty, so the government ordered that anyone under 20 be investigated. Those who had powers were. . Taken care of, and those who didn't were allowed to go back to society. The government was struggling to catch all the 'Unnaturals' by themselves, so they began recruiting people who didn't have powers to track down and eliminate those who did. Some unnaturals were kept for study, but most were killed. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. )) |

Gender: Female Age: 17.5 Species: Unnatural(Yet to be evaluated) Abilities: She's experienced several strange happenings, but has yet to pinpoint what she caused/ Attraction/Orientation: Cottagecore Lesbean Personality: Sweet, socially awkward, polite, a bit of a bitch depending on the scenario. She has awful anxiety, and doesn't handle confrontation very well. While she's a bit timid, she can be very bold if she needs to be. She doesn't let others walk all over her, and can stand up for herself, even though it's difficult. Appearance: Slightly under average height(5'4), fair skin. Average build, and not much muscle. Medium length blonde hair. Heterochomia(Green and blue) eyes with abnormally long eyelashes. C-Cup, and a vibrant smile. She wears mostly pastel colours, and the rest of her wardrobe is comfy pants. Her preferred shoes are customised converse platforms. Likes: Cats, ducks, mochi, Greek mythology, music, and instruments. Dislikes: Long lines in stores, middle schoolers, cafeterias, showoffs, the government, bullies. Fears: Pretttty much everything. Horror movies, bullies, social situations, being alone at parties, big dogs, etc. Other Info: She's a total bookworm. She's very quiet. She didn't learn that she was an unnatural until she was sixteen, and managed to escape before she could be evaluated. She doesn't know what her rank is(Stable/Unstable and Limited - Total).   Just to add a little bit of drama, we'll say that certain unnaturals were allowed to live. Such as those with super strength, enhanced intelligence, and other things that don't pose a threat, or could be used to help the government. )) |

Or maybe they started drafting them because younger people were able to go under cover easier, and catch more unnaturals? It's alright if not though! I can just adjust my oc! )) |
