Finally deciding that giving up was boring; she goes back to the river. "Now to cross back over." She grumbles and looks for a way to cross without touching the water.
"Who are you?" Zhangzi asked, trying to disguise his demanding question with a honeyed tone. He wasn't worried about him and the fox being related in some way, his two siblings looked little to nothing like him. But all of them had a little association with water.
Ouro looked at the creature lazily, her eyes glittering in amusement. Curling her tails around her delicate paws, she said "well, not an enemy for now if that counts." She flashed a wolffish grin, teeth glinting as she gazed at him.
"The name is Ouro, I often visit this lake. Have you always resided here?" She asked politely, curiosity lacing her words.
Truthfully she'd not seen this creature before but had heard rumors about a creature dwelling in it.
"I'm simply floating by." He replied, empathising the floating part by doing so. His days consisted of a lot of water dwelling, lurking up and down the rivers and other bodies of water around. He travelled well through water and trees, having a long body and two front legs.
"And you? A being such as yourself seems all too delicate for this harsh habit." He inquired.
Ouro smiled sweetly at him at his comment, but inwardly she was wickedly delighted by his comment on her "delicate-ness". Most creatures responded in kind, as though she was a large creature- she was seemingly a delicate being. She did look the part though- she had to keep in mind. Her species looks could definitely be deceiving.
She laughed in amusement at him, before responding, " This habitat is far more welcoming than that of which I was raised upon, but no matter. We delicate creatures find a way I suppose." She shrugged a shoulder.
Looking closer at him she said, "You look mighty comfortable for a being that's merely floating by."
Zhangzi didn't plan any time soon to trust her, not that he'd ever harboured trust in his heart. It was wise to do the same for him, toying with others was what he did for amusement and survival. Maybe his nature could be excused in that case, but what he had done and did was too cruel to be forgiven.
"It's simply my personality snowflake, an unshakable confidence in my own body." He gave a fang-y grin. Self doubt was foreign to him, almost as much as being honest.
Kali noticed the serpent talking to what appeared to be a kitsune creature. "Huh, would you look at that. The snake has found someone to annoy." Her tail had started to flick from one side to the other as her annoyance grew. Baring her fangs the giant hound stalked over to the two creatures. "Well, I haven't seen a fox like you before. But I shouldn't be calling you a fox now should I?" Kali smiled coldly.
Ouro grinned back at the water dweller enjoying the conversation. Hearing a commotion she shifted her eyes to the hound that was stalking over towards their direction…it seemed annoyed. Chuckling to herself she stared openly at the visitor responding, " It would seem we have a visitor…but no I'm not necessarily a fox, simply a fox like creature, on the outside, with a little added." She grinned flicking her tails lazily as she observed the hound. "Much like I wouldn't call you a dog, because you are more than that." She shrugged a shoulder, amusement in her voice at the interruption.
"Surprising, you're very charming for a kitsune. I'm used to the tricksters." The female growls softly and tilts her head to one side. "But I guess I should not judge a book by its cover, should I?" Kali replies in neutral tone.
Ambrose enters the Cryptid's world through a portal, looking around confused with his moth wings folded on his back in the traditional moth way. he was in a massive clearing quite a bit up river from the kitsune and fox fish (i can't remember the species XD) and the wind was blowing his moth and man mixed scent toward the two. he was quite confused.
