Max flew down to the scene. It looked like some cats were setting fire. It was spreading towards Silverstream's thunder. |

Smoke. Normally, she wouldn't have worried about it, as the dragons often set fire to the bushes to keep them healthy, but the scent was too close to be a bush fire. She sat up and looked around, though it was pointless. Even if there was a fire near her, she wouldn't be able to see it. She decided she should head back to camp, just to be safe, but when she got there, she was horrified. The fire had nearly reached the camp by now, and was about to cross their borders. She bolted into camp, and immediately began waking everyone up. Soon enough, everyone had begun the panicked process of evacuating camp. She hurried into the nursery, but it was too late. The fire had spread to the roots of it, and the roof was about to collapse in. |

They needed help. He was glad he had sharp claws, it was good for digging. He dug a hole under and popped out, signaling a loud roar for the thunder to hear. "UNDER HERE!" |

That wouldn't last long. The fire had made its way into the heart of the camp, and most of the exits had been sealed off. Anyone who hadn't already left camp began flying up to the highlands. She was alone. Her eyes stung from the smoke, and she could hardly breathe. Her thunder wasn't made of fire breathers; Their abilities were mostly nature-based. Their scales weren't fireproof, and this would prove to be quite deadly. SilentStream looked around frantically, trying to find a way out, but there were none. She made a last minute decision, and ended up running through the fire. She was covered from head to claw in burns, but she was alive. She wouldn't be able to make it to the highlands at this rate, so she ran through the forest to the lake, where she collapsed, and didn't wake up until morning. |

The thunder didn't seem to care that she was gone, they were heading their own way. He went to the female and lay near her, watching for other c.dragons. |

She awoke the next morning with a monster headache. She winced in pain as she lifted her head, not remembering where she was. She looked around, as the memories from last night came flooding back to her. She tried to sit up, but fell back down the first time. She tried again, and this time was able to keep herself upright. Suddenly, she scented another c.dragon. She flexed her claws and began growling instinctively, despite knowing she wouldn't be able to fight in her current condition. |

She immediately stopped growling and sat back down. Well- More like collapsed. She didn't say a word. Instead, she just began inspecting the damage. Her wings were nearly burnt to a crisp, and she had burns and blisters all over her body. Without a word, she stood up shakily and waded into the lake. She winced, but continued to swim around, trying to clean out her wounds as much as possible. |

"Well aren't you optimistic. . I won't be healed for days, Max. It could take longer, and by then, my thunder will have already left." She paused, still not making eye contact. "I doubt they've even noticed I'm gone." She admitted, sounding defeated. She stayed in there for a few more moments before climbing out, not bothering to shake off the water that was clinging to her scales. She layed down, feeling exhausted, even after a full night's rest. |
