If not . . That's why no one ever turns themselves in, and she was no exception. She didn't even know what her abilities were. . The only reason she'd been flagged was because her teachers noticed pencils moving on their own on the surrounding desks. She wasn't telekinetic. If she was, she surely would have figured it out by now. Her only goal was to survive until her 18th birthday, when she could get a new identity. She ran back inside, slamming the door behind her. She locked the doors and then ran to her bedroom. She had a knife in her drawer. She didn't want to use it, but she would if she had to |

Her eyes went wide for a moment. She'd always been terrified of dogs, and the government's dogs were always big. She didn't respond. She just stayed in her room and began opening the window to try and use the fire escape. She got it about halfway open before she heard the door being kicked in. It was loud, and inconveniently, she has phonophobia(fear of loud sounds). She heard barking and began to panic. She knew she wouldn't get the window open in time, so she turned around and held up the knife with shaky hands, facing the door. |

Jaxx ran into the house and started sniffing around. He soon went to the closed door where Yurami was. He began scratching at the door, and Ash walked toward it. She held up her gun before she moved and opened the door. She kept her pistol aimed in front of her. Jaxx stood in behind Ash, but he was barking. |

Her hands were shaking, but she couldn't stop them. "Last chance before I break down this door!" They called. She knew they had a gun. She didn't know how, she just knew. She also knew never to bring a knife to a gun fight, and yet here we are. She still didn't respond. She stood there ready for whatever came through that door, or at least that's what she was telling herself. In reality, she'd probably end up dead within ten seconds. |

Soon the door got kicked down. Ashley came into view with her gun pointed at her, " Put the knife down! " she said. Jaxx's barks had grown louder. "I will shoot. Put the knife down." She said to Yurami, her voice sounded young. |

Also, I've gotten pretty good at telling when you're just out of it, so don't worry, I know you're not pissed at me or anything XD )) She didn't budge. She instead retorted, "And why the hell would I do that? You'll just shoot me anyways." She sighed, her hands still shaking. "Tell me, what evidence do they have?" The woman in front of her looked confused, but only for a second. She quickly went back to being blank. "I've shown no signs of being an unnatural up until now. The average development age is four through six, so how does it make sense that I'm almost eighteen?" She paused, choosing her words carefully. "The kid next to me was the telekinetic, and in case you're wondering, he's already been 'handled'." She gritted her teeth, trying not to lose her temper. |

"Don't lie to me. My three month period is up. It has been for months. Your assignment was to eliminate me, so why not just do it and get it over with." She sighed, a look of sadness clouded in her eyes. "I'm not putting the knife down, and I'm not going with you." She spoke softly, as she was quickly running out of motivation to live. These people will never stop chasing her, not until they know what she is, and theres nowhere else she can go without being ID'd. By now her hands were shaking so bad, she feared she might accidentally drop it. She tightened her grip and tried her best to appear brave. |
