"Look. I don't want to hurt you, so please don't make me have too." She said as she looked at her. " I can talk to someone about it. If you haven't had any signs of having a ability, then your not a threat. Right now, I want to end this peacefully. So please put the knife down."

"For the last time, I'm not putting the knife down! I don't know what your position is, but you know damn well that your superiors won't make any exceptions! Stop giving me false hope when you know there is none! I-It's cruel!" She was fighting back tears now, realising there was no way out of this. "Either kill me or leave. Your choice." She sighed, not meeting her gaze.

Ash hestared, she had taken the life of someone before. But those people had given her no choice. She swallowed, " I-I can't leave." She said and kept her gun pointed at her.

She sighed, letting the tears fall.
"So what are you waiting for.? Just end it. It's not like I was going to make it anyways." She lowered her knife, letting it hang loosely in her hand.
After a few moments, she looked back up, all the pain she had experienced showing in her mismatched eyes.
"DO IT!" She cried, gritting her teeth. This was it. This was the end of her line. She didn't even care anymore. The world was an awful place, and she was no longer interested in being there.
"If you don't, I will." She growled, raising the knife to her throat.

A look of horror crossed over her face. " No, dont!" She said as she lowered the gun instantly. "Please don't do that, I'll let you go ok? Just please, don't put that image in my brain." She begged. She had lost control of her emotions.

"I-I. ." She dropped to her knees and brought them to her chest. "There's nothing left for me here. I can't keep going. . I just can't" She repeated that last part several times, now bawling. She couldn't breathe, and her chest hurt so bad that she was close to passing out.

She didn't even notice when the woman slid the knife out of her hands, she just kept crying.
Her parents had abandoned her when she was flagged, her friends called the unnatural hotline on her, even her sister refused to help her.
"There's not a single person left on this planet I can trust. ." She spoke almost inaudibly.

She shook her head, knowing she'd rather die than go with this woman.
"I told you earlier. . Either leave, or kill me." She closed her eyes, leaning back against her bed frame. "I won't go with you." She repeated what she'd said earlier, not even bothering to look at the woman next to her.
