Yurami didn't want to say anything more about the base, but she couldn't help her curiosity.
"I didn't know the government still ran UCA bases down here. I thought they gave up on that back in '75." She muttered, turning to see that Ollie was awake. "Morning bud, you get some good sleep?" She asked, smiling. "Yesss!" He stretched and giggled a bit.
She knew they couldn't talk about the base now that O was awake, but she was still dying inside. Slowly, Ash stopped the car.
"What's wrong? Are we out of gas?" Yura asked, seeming concerned.
". . You were right before. The first thing they'll track is the car, and if we get too close to the base in it, we're screwed."
"Sooo- We're ditching the car?
'Yep."
"Alrighty then. Ollie, we're gonna walk from here, okay?"
She hopped out of the car and walked around to the back. She helped O get out and grabbed her backpack, checking for anything else in the car they could take.
"Alrighty then, you ready to go?" She turned towards Ash, holding Oliver's hand.

Ashley nodded and got Jaxx out of the car. "We'll walk for as long as we can then we'll make camp for the night. We'll keep moving like that, so it makes it harder for us to be tracked."

"Alrighty!" She smiled, sticking her tongue out at Ollie.

They'd been walking for several hours now, and it was nearly sunset. They'd found a fairly sheltered area of the woods and decided to stay there for the night.
"Alright buddy, you're all set." Yura gave Ollie a lil' thumbs up.
He copied her thumbs up and sat down next to her. They were all gathered around a small camp fire, roasting some hot dogs Yurami had grabbed from the cottage. Ollie was having fun messing with the fire, making little shapes with the sparks in the air. She looked over to see that the cracks on his face and hands had started to fade.
"Hey, good job! You're making your cracks go away!" She praised him, giving him a little high five.

Ashley sat a few feet away from them, watching them silently. Jaxx was laying down beside her as well.
She had a blank expression on her face as she watched Ollie make his cracks vanish

She gave Ollie a pat on the head before walking over and sitting next to Ash. They were a good distance away from Ollie, so she didn't feel as obligated to stay silent.
"He's pretty impressive. He can shift his appearance, but he's only what, five?" She smiled softly, seeming tired.

Ashley gave a small nod. She stared at the fire, the bags under her eyes showing more.
She let out a sigh before her gaze flicked over to Ollie.

". . Are you okay.? I know you're tired, but it seems like there's more than that. ." She asked quietly, looking over at Ashley as she stared at Ollie.

"I'm just worried. If there's something wrong, I need to know, Ashley." She looked up at her with determination in her eyes.
