While she went to the building, she spotted a pup nearby. It was wandering around, and all alone. She quickly snatched up the pup, and ran into the building. She could kill this pup later, but for now it would be best for them both to hide.
Maine howled in surprise and fear. He could tell it was a Graveless Dead. Ravana looked up at the howl. She swore and raced toward the other building, wincing in pain as the sunlight burnt her ghostly flesh. She reached the building just before the pain took her life again. She was already weak from the last time it had happened. She called out for the pup she knew was missing, her adopted son/daughter Maine. "Maine?" She called. "Mama?" Maine called out, fearful.
She heard a luffhund call out for the pup, and she could tell immediately it was Ravana. she quickly hushed the pup, and put him in a hiding place, under what seemed to be an office cubicle. She hid nearby under a chair with a blanket over it.
(Oh man I'm so sorry for not replying, life happened)
Rowan's ears lowered slightly at the growl and shuddered slightly. "A graveless?" she asked but looked around, body tensed, and her fur bristled. She wasn't afraid and was willing to fight even if her specialty lied with healing. Her heart sank when she heard the sound of a frightened pup and saw her fellow Luffhund leave the building. Forcing her nerves down, Rowan followed, gritting her teeth at the pain from the sunlight but powered through, she didn't want a pup to suffer.
Ravana, having fought many Graveless when she was stronger, wasn't deterred in the slightest. And with her pup's whimpering, it made it rather easy to find him. She didn't see the Graveless, but she did smell it. "Are you just hiding? You're no worse than a pup," She muttered, talking to the Graveless as she gently moved Maine to a safer place.
"If it wasn't for me, that pup would've been caught in the sunlight. You should be thankful, but I guess nobody pities the graveless." she muttered under her breath. She could smell the pup being moved, which she didn't care about anymore. She had to get back to the graveless lands.
Rowan growled slightly at the words of the graveless, moving to stand near the pup. "Even I know first hand pups will get away from anything or anyone that tries to hurt them," she said, narrowing her eyes slightly.
"Maine is..." Ravan paused, looking for the right word. "Different," She settled on different because it didn't disclose Maine's true state of being...
Rowan looked at her and nodded. "I see." She said not wanting to pressure for a different answer. "You gonna be alright? You seem not at full strength," she asked, wanting to change the subject.
