Nova sat at the edge of the clearing, watching the pack life go by. Cosmo and Cinders bugging Frosty, who was trying to eat peacefully, Dusk playing with Daisy, who was letting the younger pup win. Irony and Harou chatting excitly, they had returned from hunting practice. Kai stood proudly watching the adolcents and pups play, his gray eyes warm and compassionate. He had adopted her, and found Orion after they were abaonded. She owed everything to him. His Beta amber though, she didn't like. Daisy's mother and a strict one at that. She disliked her, but hated Orion. Orions confident, bold rebellious personality clashed with Ambers serious rule following one. This is a good time to test my vison. She suddenly thought, Blue jay had advised her to practice often, so she could control it better. Preparing herself she looked at frosty, focusing only on him. Peering into the future. Frosty was an adult, and admittedly was quite good looking. What was not good was his expression, which was worried and anxious. Looking around she saw Cinders and Cosmo, Cosmo and another albino wolf fondly chatting and snuggling. She smiled at least he looked happy. Cinders was sitting alone nervously looking around. Him too? Worry spiking through her, she looked at Harou and Irony who were chatting and eating prey, but every one and a while Irony protectively curled around Harou and looked around. Daisy was playing with some pups, a puppysitter huh? that fits her A shuffle came from behind her, turning around she jumped. Dusk was there. But not Dusk. Everyone else was an adult, but not her. And she was looking straight at her. Her lips turned into a blank smile and Dusk reached out her paw just about to brush Nova's fur when she was pulled forcefully out of the future, back into the present. Orion's nervous face looked at her. "Are you ok!? You're eyes were glowing and stuff and you were shivering-" they stopped. "Were you future seeing again?" Nova nodded. "I didn't know it did this...' Orion trailed off. "Its ok." Nova pushed them away. "Im fine. Im fine." But she knew she was lying. |
