Snowflake Gave a sigh as she slowly walked along the forest path. She was one of the packs scouts and was currently on one of her many trips to the tundra. Right now she was making slow progress through the coniferous forest. She wasn't sure about the closed and dark spaces of the woods, being used to the wide grasslands. She just hoped she could make the trip quick as she had pups back at home to take care of, and she was missing them.

Snowflake pricked her ears. She could smell something in the distance. She thought it might be a wolf, but she couldn't tell. Hopefully it was just a coyote or fox, she thought worriedly as she picked up her pace to a little trot. She hadn't met any wolves outside her pack and was unsure of how she would be treated.

Snowflake stopped in her tracks as she saw the stranger emerge from the undergrowth. She didn't recognize them. they were tall and held themselves with regal authority. Piercing blue, iris-less eyes bore into hers from behind glowing intricate jelwery. Snowflake crouched down and backed up a step. Even though gods and strong beings were common knowledge in the land, Her pack was not a religious one, so she was I'll prepared when suddenly face to face with someone who radiated power like this. She lowered herself and pinned her ears back, unsure what to do. Not showing submission to this stranger but neither showing aggression with a growl. She waited for them to speak first as she was the visitor on this land.

She stammered, before gaining a hard edge to her voice. She didn't like that word, 'enemy', and was suddenly worried as the other wolves advanced toward her.
