Have you ever retired a wolf? Have you ever wondered how it's done? I have.
I was sitting down, staring blankly at main chat when I thought: How are wolves retired (killed)?

Theory 1: Poisonous berries
Theory 2: Tala bitch slapping them (#6646)
Theory 3: 100 cure for alls which explode their spine
Theory 4: Herbert puts em down
Theory 5: All of your pack members tear them apart
Theory 6: Buried alive at a funeral (58077)
Theory 7: Rngeesus almighty strikes them with lightning
Theory 8: An assassin is hired to kill them

They might just get.. buried alive. Look. You pay money to retire them. That money goes to the funeral funds, all of these mourning musicians and all. The wolf just goes
"Yes i served my pack for a while time to perish"
and gets into the grave

You gotta pay so ummmm they become assassinated? Actually that's a brilliant idea that's gonna be in my pack lore since my scouts are also Assassins hegehheegh.

Some kind of poison the herbalist doing their thing seems like the most logical answer.

the most probable one is theory 1 and 4.

i have my own theory: The wolves hold a very fancy ceremony (depending  on the wolf) to magically make the wolf die?
