Throughout several cultures there seems to be some sort of humanisation/physical embodiment of death. Theres the Grim reaper, there's Thanatos within greek mythology, Yama is the Hindu god of death, and La Calavera Catrina in Mexican culture. (I had to look these up- feel free to tell me if I'm wrong.) Death is usually some kind of skeleton, or a being that appears dead. So.... I propose to you, the Wolvden version of death would be a skulldog. Not an anthro one either, an actual black wolf with a skulldog mask. I propose that this wolf takes wolves to the after life, which leads onto another theory of mine, where the afterlife is the Lunar realm. Super tempted to draw a comic on this, but tell me what you guys think! |
