Sola huffed in amusement, standing up again. "Maybe so, but you need to learn to listen to the Alpha. She knows more than you, little one, and it may be easy to listen to a scolding but what if Shade decides to do more than that hmmm? What if she decides that you need to be stuck with one of the pupsitters all day, that you need to be taken care of? You'd hardly be able to sneak away then!" He pounced forward and carefully picked Cosette up, letting her dangle as he carried her by the scruff on her neck. The hunter sent a glance towards the dark forest and began the walk back to camp, not at all eager to run into Shade either out here or at camp. Maybe he could get Cosette into the nursery and block up the way she slipped out in time. Suddenly realising he had stopped while thinking Sola let out a huff and continued padding back. "Maybe sometime tomorrow I'll see if I can bring you out to the creek or something, yeah?" He compromised, voice muffled through the wolf pup held in his mouth.

"Noooo!! I dont like the pupsitters, they're mean!" Cosette huffed, frowning. "Theyll never take me aliveee!!" She felt her fur bristling slightly, and she was so focused on being made to stay with a pupsitter that she didnt even notice that Sola was coming up behind her. She wiggled in his grasp when he grabbed her by her scruff, "Aweee! Sola put me down!!" She eventually stopped struggling, letting him carry her back to camp. "Oh, really? Yes, I'd love that!!" Cosette squealed in excitement, smiling brightly.

"Exactly! So hush now and go to sleep. Otherwise tomorrow will take forever to come along." He replied, speeding into a trot. A bit more bumpy but they'd get back faster.

Ducking into camp Sola continued on to the nursery, plopping Cosette down on a nest. "Go to sleep now pup, and then tomorrow I'll see whether I can bring you out to the river or something! But remember, only if you behave tonight and during the day until I come around, alright?"

Cosette nodded, shutting her mouth. She giggled slightly when he sped up and she started bumping around. Her paws, both front and back, were tucked into herself so they didnt get caught on anything.

The pup stretched herself out as soon as he dropped her into the nest, obviously tired, if not exhausted. "Alright, Sola." She stayed quiet for a moment before speaking again. "Can you.. stay with me tonight?" She asked, looking up at him with a pleading look.

Snowfox let out on last long low howl as if to tell off the dead restless spirits. She was fairly annoyed by their restless behavior.

It was the final howl that allowed Kaizen to pinpoint the location of their... guest. He turned toward the fading sound and after a few moments he began to pick up the scent of an unfamiliar wolf.

He trotted along quietly as the darkness of night solidified. The sounds of evening's wildlife further dampened their steps as Kaizen and the scout closed in on Snowfox.

The Beta halted them abruptly then nodded for his companion to circle to the right. He himself dropped to a crouch and inched forward through the underbrush. Yellow eyes finally rested upon the brown-tinted wolf. She was just at their border; it seemed she knew to stop just before entering their territory. Ah well, it would be better to give her a warning regardless.

Kaizen stepped out into the open, his white fur bristling in the gentle wind. "To whom do you call?"

Sola tilted his head, wondering whether Shade would mind. Ah well. "Scooch over then, lemme lie down!" He lay down next to Cosette, hanging over the edges of the nest that was definitely made more for adols and pups rather than adults.

Ilia glanced at the small clock on her table and frowned, turning to double check. "Oh gosh, it's already past nine! I'm so sorry to keep you two so late, lost track of time entirely!" She said, rather sheepishly. "Don't worry about this, I'll sort it out tomorrow. You need dinner and to sleep, more importantly!"

Snowfox looked down from her collapsed tree.
"Snowfox, seer of souls. An oracle you could say." She said politely yet confidently. She stood on the fallen tree with her body relaxed in a manner to be non threatening and friendly.
The magpie Paco sat on her rump in a very proud manner. He still held his shiny thing in his beak.

Cosette giggled, scooting over so he could get in and then cuddling up to him. He was definitely too big for the nest, but she didn't mind. She was just focused on the warmth that felt almost like her mother's, although that memory was fading as she grew.

Esmeray was about to drift off while putting the last herbs together but snapped awake when Ilia started talking, "Nine? I should probably go to bed. She got up, walking over to Ilia and patting her head. "Get some sleep, dear." She said, before walking out and making her way back to her house to get some food and go to sleep.

They had been working in silence for a while when suddenly Ilia spoke. Emma's gaze lifted from the herbs in front of her and located the healer. "Is it really?" She then looked to Esmeray who was saying her goodbyes. The girl waved to her then turned to Ilia. "Are you sure you don't want some help tidying up?

Kaizen's eyebrow twitched, almost as if he was trying to quirk it in curiosity, but it barely changed his expression. "An oracle," he echoed flatly. His scout companion had not reemerged yet; likely waiting for any sign of trouble and keeping themselves hidden.
