Blake looked exactly like his dad, and she could see why her father had mistaken him for the man she assumed was called 'James'. Well, regardless of who he was, she could see that he was having a panic attack. She had to look away, feeling that same familiar sensation in her chest. She still remembered how much it hurt, and she didn't want to think about it anymore.

His dad is having a panic attack.'* She responded, unsure of what to do. After almost five minutes, her papa finally messaged her back. *'I need you to do something for me.'* She knocked on the door lightly as she walked in, trying not to scare the two of them. Her phone was in her hand, and she walked up to 'James' without a word. She handed him the phone, which was still on a call screen. Blake looked up at her, both shocked and confused, but she just gestured for him to come with her. He hesitated, so she just gave in and took his hand, dragging him back out to the car. *"We're just gonna sit in here for a little while."* She told him, leaving no room for argument.

Posted 2022-07-17 23:44:15 #797154 Blake had been so confused when Cherri came inside, in fact he was scared for her to see his dad like this.James curled in on himself more, and his body was shaking.. When he was handed the phone he didn't even look at the name of the person on call. His shaky breathing could be heard. Blake swallowed as he was dragged outside, not liking the fact he was told to stay outside.

He could hear the other's unsteady breathing, and he could tell that his hands were in his hair again. "Hey, Jamie." He spoke softly, trying not to freak him out. "Just take a deep breath, and get your hands out of your hair, please." He sighed, sounding worried for the other.

"I know. Please. . Just take a breath for me. That voice is wrong and you know it, okay? We've been over this a thousand times. I need you to ignore it." He paused, running a hand through his hair. "Please, Jamie." He pleaded, trying not to break down himself.

James said his voice breaking, tears rolling down his face. His shaking was worse now and his head was starting to hit.

I had Cherii come in and give it to you. I'm on speakerphone, okay? Check it. My phone number is still the same." He tried to calm him down, hearing the cracks in his voice. "Please, please just breathe. You're scaring me." He leaned back in his chair, terrified of what James might do to himself.
