"Okay, then. Can you take the phone with you please?" He asked, refusing to make eye contact with Caleb. For a moment, though, he put himself on mute. "Who the fuck is that?" Caleb snapped, practically radiating the scent of alcohol. "Seriously, Cal?! You're pissed at me, so you go get drunk?! What the hell happened to the 'No alcohol in the house' rule? You know, the one that you made?" He stood up, walking over to stand in front of Caleb. "Oh fuck off. You're a worse drunk than me!" Caleb retorted, crossing his arms. "I haven't had alcohol in years, dammit! You know what, just get out. I'm busy right now, and I don't have the time for your bullshit. You'd better get your shit together before Cherii gets home." He growled, turning around and going back into his room. "Are you fucking kidding me?! It's him, isn't it?!" Caleb yelled as he put his hand through the crack in the door before Karlie could close it. "Caleb, get the fuck out. Now." Karlie shouted, though he hadn't been trying to. "You've been hung up on him since college, you fucking bastard! You at least owe me the truth!" Caleb screamed back at him. "I don't owe you anything. Now, get out." He sighed, moving Caleb's hand before shutting and locking the door.

James had stood up shakingly and he walked for the door. The moment Blake saw the front door open he was already walking towards  his father. James's eyes were red and Blake's concerned voice could be heard over the phone. "Dad? Listen its ok, i promise." Blake could be heard saying. James let out a shaky breath,  "Blake, i-i'm sorry." Blake shook his head, "Dad. Dont ever apologize."

Karlie sighed, knowing he'd done all he could. He hung up and leaned back in his seat, waiting for Caleb to come in and yell at him some more. He couldn't help the fact that his heart was breaking for James, but he knew it was pointless to feel that way. James had a son, and was most likely married. Just let him go, dammit. It's been eighteen years already. . Just let him. . He tried to convince himself, but he just trailed off and broke down crying.

She walked up behind Blake, not sure what she should do. She knew she should probably leave them alone, but she wanted to make sure that they were okay first.

She glanced up at Blake, not wanting to be disrespectful, but also worried for him and his father. In the end, though, she knew she should respect his choices. *"Keep those cuts clean, and I'll see you tomorrow, hubae."* She told him, taking her phone and turning back to her car. On the drive home, though, she felt as if there was still something wrong.

Blake quickly got his father on the house. It took forver for him to finally calm all the way down but when he did, he was out in no time. Blake sighed not knowing who had talked to his father on the phone. He knew though there was something he didnt know about...

Cherii parked the car in the driveway when she got home, but instantly froze when she got to the door. She heard screaming, and there was broken glass on the floor. She saw through the window that her parents were fighting, and her papa had a black eye. She ran back and got into her car, unable to deal with that right now.

Blake had been aching everywhere. Now Cherri had seen a sensitive spot of his life...no one needed to know how badly his dad struggled. He wanted to protect his dad from all the rumors and he was scared Cherri might say something

Cherii pulled out of the driveway, still hearing her parents' shouting echoing through her mind. She absolutely hated confrontation, and it scared the shit out of her that her Dad and Papa were getting physical in an argument. She drove down to the school and parked in the lot, checking to see if the library was still open. She needed to go somewhere quiet to think, and most people had left the school by now, which made it perfect.
