James chuckled a little as he listened to Karlie speak. He honestly had no clue what he had said. "I have no clue what you just said." He said with a chuckle and smirk. "But, it sounded like I was angry when I was speaking to you huh?" He hadn't noticed the staff watching them, he was completely oblivious to them.

"I don't understand that- How does German always sound angry?!" He asked, leaning in a little subconsciously. "I was just making fun of K-Dramas by the way." He added, sipping on the water that had somehow ended up at the table. Damn- They're sneaky as fuck.

James chuckled a little, "I  just mentioned how even though I'm smiling, my sentence came out angry." He said. He looked down at his drink, before he picked it up and sipped on it. "I didn't even know that they had put the drinks down."

Karlie shrugged and pulled out his phone, seeing the messages from his lawyer. He stood up and walked over to James, leaning down and placing a kiss on his cheek. "I've gotta go make a call. I'll be back in a minute." He told him, standing back upright and turning for the door. He'd completely forgotten about the staff watching them, and didn't even think about the fact that they had just seen that.

James nodded as he watched him go. He looked back down at his own phone. He had gotten a text from Blake, so he ended up answering it. He still had no clue the staff was watching him, he had been so focused on Karlie hadnt even paid them any attention at all.

Karlie put the phone to his ear after he'd dialed the number, waiting for someone to pick it up.
"Karlie, glad to see you're finally picking up the phone. We've got a few things to talk about before the trial."
"Alright, out with it. I'm a little busy right now."
"This is more important than whatever ballet shit you're doing right now, Karl. Caleb is trying to have you arrested for abuse."
That caught Karlie's attention, and he made sure to keep his voice down in case there were others nearby.
"He's claiming you went ham on him one night, but he doesn't have any marks left. I need to know Karlie, did you?"
"He was beating Cherii, so I pulled him off of her. I was seeing red, Tom."
"Fucking Christ. . Do you have any witnesses who can confirm that's what happened? He's claiming that you just went at him for no reason, and without witnesses, you're fucked."
". . Yes." He sighed, knowing he'd have to talk to James about this.
"Alright, give me names, Sanchez."
"Blake and James Maxwell. Blake is the one who found Caleb with Cherii. He and Blake saw . . the whole thing." He muttered, still sounding ashamed. He'd lost his shit in front of two of the most important people in his life, and it was killing him to know that they'd seen him like that.

Karlie walked back in a few minutes later with an irritated look on his face. He saw down in the booth next to James and put his head on the table, not saying a word. God, I'm so fucked.

James didn't say a word but he could tell immediately something was wrong. He put his arm around him and he rested his head on Karlie's shoulder. He remained like that for a moment before he spoke, "Wanna talk about it...?" He didn't go any farther with his question.

Karlie tried his best to keep it under control, but he was only a few minutes away from a breakdown. "They- They want you and Blake to come to the trial. I can't fucking do that to you guys, but there's no other witnesses, and he-he's tryna get me fucking arrested! I can't lose Cherii, b-but he's got a good case, and-" He cut himself off, just closing his eyes and facing away from James. The staff here were like family to him, and they didn't need to see him break down either.

James kept his arm around him. James moved and tilted Karlie's head so he was facing him. He pressed his forehead to his and closed his eyes. "Its ok......I told you before. Me and Blake would do anything to make sure Cherri was with you.... I'll go to the trial, and so will Blake. Caleb doesn't have any witnesses... But you do. S-so please, don't turn away from me."

Karlie sighed and pulled James into a quick hug, right as their food was being brought out. ". . anything we can do?" Ari asked quietly, trying to use her English. *"Thanks, hon, but this is a little more complicated than you think."* He sighed, smiling up at her. *"Alright, but let us know if you think of something. You're family, Karlie."* She nodded and then turned around, leaving the two of them to deal with their thoughts. "Awh- She even brought you a fork." He laughed a little, breaking apart two sets of chopsticks. "Try to use these, but if all else fails, the fork is the backup plan." He sighed, sounding like he was joking.

ROSESTAR AND HER BESTIE HAD PUPS LAST NIGHTTTTT- They both had five, and it's adorableeeee! :> ))
