New bases/markings exempt from Lillimor's quest pool

New bases/markings exempt from Lillimor's quest pool

I am very greatful for the Enclave and the opportunity for the little extra cash every day that it offers. However, their's on thing that has always irked me and I feel like it should be changed. That being Lilliemor's constant asking for puppies that have recently added features.

I know that these quests are easy and cheap to skip but it gets a little annoying having to use something when these quests obviously will not be fulfilled.

I feel like this change could work in one of two ways.
  1. New features are exempt from the pool for two weeks after their release. Enough for them to be able to be purchased, bred, ect!

  2. New features are exempt from the pool until so many wolves in the game have them.

I think * bases and T3 bases should be exempt as well.  The turn in is no compensation for the value of the base, or even for any rare markings.

I absolutely could get behind removing all T3 and * bases from the pool. I don't know anyone who has ever dumped a 3 into the enclave - let alone a *

I honestly don't see the big deal. I get it can be a bit annoying at times, but it doesn't happen that often for me. I just think when it does happen, you go "UGH NOT AGAIN" and those times stick out more often than all the other enclave encounters.

Chance of getting a Tier 3 / Special Base - 25% Chance of getting a Tier 3 Base or Special

But even then, I want to say it never happens to me 25% of the time. I wouldn't be shocked if the tier 3 or specials are already weighted to show up less, but that's only a theory. I think maybe like 10 times it's showed up, and I've only put a tier 3 into it once - I was camping and too lazy to get 3 more quests, so I paid 1 GC for a slate to throw in.

Raffle eyes I could understand a bit more, but that's an even smaller percentage of the pool. Event eyes become common so quick that many are already at 10-20 SC for common pups. Hetero eyes at the same issue at first. They were pricey, but over time, the price dropped down until they were easy enough to buy for the enclave.

I just don't see the point of making the aspect of the game easier when it's already a low chance, you get two other tasks you can try, and even then, you can skip it with a 1 use bone from the raffle game. If you were locked into those 3 tasks, I'd get it, but it allows you to skip the task with very little cost at all.

The only danger is "accidentally" putting a pup into the enclave this way. But there's easily ways to prevent this. Locked pups will show up for enclave tasks, but can't be dropped off if clicked, so this is a minor inconvenience at best

I too would like to second this It would be a lot easier if it stoped asking for Hard bases to obtain as some of us would like to regularly use the enclave better especially TIIIs and specials

I've supported this a while ago, but forgot to post.

I do the Enclave quests daily and have gotten multiple requests for Merged bases/markings and Storm or Kin nose/skin/claws. Keep in mind that these were multiple days ago, before Tier 3 opened. So those quests requested something that was literally unachievable at that time.

I don't like the Enclave quests asking for really rare features like T3 bases or certain eyes, but that's understandable even if I don't like it. (Since Smoke eyes, for example, are rare, but you can find pups around 20 SC to use, so it's not so bad.) But things that are brand new? They shouldn't be included.

Of course quests can be skipped and this isn't the biggest issue ever, but I don't see why things that are nigh impossible (or legitimately impossible) to get are added the second they're announced. I really think certain things should be exempt until they've actively been in the game for a certain period.

Support for the topic's content. New marks, bases, etc are often ridiculously hard to find for the first week after, it would be great if quests regarding them could have a delayed release.

As for other comments here suggesting getting rid of requests for more valuable bases:
I think the main issue here is that the enclave is eventually supposed to be like on Lioden, where Lillimor gives you a special currency that you can use at an exclusive shop instead of SC. (Source)
The gorilla enclave on Lioden asks for rare/hard to find stuff all the time - it's not uncommon to have to skip quests, go ask people if they'd be willing to sell a cub that fits quest requirements, or drop 200+ SB (roughly equivalent to 60+ SC) on a cub for the enclave. The gorillas even ask for mutated cubs and offer increased rewards for it, though this seems to be an uncommon request. It's clear that Lillemor's enclave was modeled after this, though perhaps her currency will be less valuable, since she gives 3 quests per 24 hours instead of just 1.
Instead of asking to get rid of these difficult requests, I think it would be more appropriate to ask for the placeholder reward to be changed, or that Lillemor's shop be prioritized over other development projects.
